Later that evening, after Erza, Mia and myself headed to the guild and explain that we had to leave urgently on a mission. Me and Mia waited inside of the guild hall whilst Erza spoke to Laxus who had returned only an hour or so before. Although tired, Laxus agreed to speak to Erza in his office. Me and Mia sat down at a table after a now much happier Mira had very kindly made us drinks. Gray, Lucy and Natsu (Juvia disappeared too,) still weren't back yet, so I could only imagine that they were staying somewhere in the town that they did the job. After having a sip of tea, I began to wonder why Erza asked me to go with her, if there was a particular reason that she needed me. I also began to think about the type of magic Matt uses. Life magic, Re-quip and Newton magic. Re-quip magic is what Erza uses, so as a guess, I'd say it was either inherited from Erza or he's just learnt it. Come to think about it though, I don't know that much about Newton magic, but I imagine that Life-Make magic is like Gray's Ice-Make magic. But what would it work with? Snapping me out of my thoughts, Mia grabbed my arm.  " They've been talking in there for a while now, I wonder how it's going. What you thinking about?" She questioned, smiling. I lifted my head up and looked at her, placing my mug onto the table. "How could you tell I was thinking?" I replied, puzzled. She pulled a silly grin as she slowly let go of my arm and began to walk to the edge of the table, jumping down onto the chair making me wonder suspiciously what she was going to come out with. She grinned again before speaking. "You pull this odd face when your thinking. Makes you look wierd." Knowing that I would chase her, she ran off. "Oh, do I now..?" I stood up slowly, before speeding after her and jumping on her, both of us knocking over multiple tables and chairs, laughing. People who were still here such as Mira, Levy and co as well as Wendy, Carla and a few others were just laughing, but we didn't even notice. We were too busy lauging and tickling each other. The only time we finally noticed was when we rolled into the office door just as Laxus was opening it. Realising what had happened, we both threw ourselves to our feet recieving a small laugh from everyone and a chuckle from Erza. Laxus just looked at us. "You sure you want to take these two?" He turned his head to face Erza, who was standing next to next to him. "Yes, I'm certain." She smiled, looking at us. They both walked out of the room, being followed by the Thunder Tribe. Erza stopped and stood beside me, as Laxus did. "Just kidding kid." Laxus chuckled. "Good luck tomorrow. " He smiled and patted me on the shoulder before walking away with the Thunder Tribe. I smiled and turned to face Erza who had began to speak. " We've managed to narrow down Matt's location. He's recently been spotted in Worth Woodsea Forest in the north. However, it may be more difficult to find him than you think.." She said, raising her hand to her chin, smiling. I was a little confused. "But.. I thought the Nirvana incident years ago cleared away most of the vegetation? Weren't most of the plants and trees killed by Nirvana's magic?" I said, puzzled. Mia too, shared my confusion. Erza just chuckled. "His Life-Make magic uses plants and vegetation, therefore, I can almost guarantee that most of that forest will be back. It's likely to have started growing back over the years on it's own, however, if Matt is there, then he's likely to have replenished the forest and it will be our best bet to find him." She put her hands on her hips and closed her eyes. "This was also why I wanted you to come with me.." She continued. "Matt.. Was also trained by a Dragon. Not tought Life Dragon-Slayer magic, but Life magic none the less. He's likely to be a very formidable foe in is current state, which is why I need your help. As a Dragon-Slayer, you may find it easier to bring him down than I will. Your magic may also give us a slight advantage." She finished explaining and sat down on a chair. He was trained by a Dragon and yet, he wasn't tought Dragon-Slayer magic? The Dragon must have had a reason, but I wonder why.. Either way, he sounds dangerous. I just nodded and accepted the fact. "This is all information I've obtained from Jellal, so it's all true. Are you still up for it?" Errza stood up again, raising her voice a little near the end of the sentance. Me and Mia both looked at each other. "Hell yeah!" Me and Mia high fived and I turned my head back to face Erza. "In that case, we leave in the morning!" Erza cheered happily.

At the crack of dawn, we all packed up necessary things; food, blankets, matches.. We didn't know how long we were going to be there for as it depended on how long it would take us to find Matt. I hadn't got all that much in my bag but Erza somehow managed to fill up a whole cart of items, as well as pull the cart itself. After catching a few trains as well as coaches (and me feeling hugely sick and then feeling a smack on the back of my neck), we finally made it to Worth Woodsea forest. Erza was right. The entire forest had grown back. Trees, hedges, plants, flowers, bushes, the whole lot. Even the river was peacefully flowing through the renewed forest. However, as we began walking, to our surprise, we soon found a trail that lead us almost straight to Matt. An entire path of trees completely in a line had been cut swiftly and cleanly into two. Erza stopped directly in her tracks and threw her arm out in front of me. I was struggling to smell anything apart from the scent of flowers and plants that completely clogged up my nose, but I could hear a lot of loud noises and an odd flapping noise in the air that sounded a lot like wings that almost hurt my ears. Erza slowly lowered her arm. As she did so; the wind picked up tremendously. The what was a nice cool breeze, was now almost a devastating galeforce wind. I noticed that the flapping noise above us got a lot louder as Mia put her arms around my neck tightly to stop herself from blowing away in the traumatic wind. There were rocks, stones and leaves flying all around us, and now even myself and Erza had to put ourselves in such a position so we weren't blown back by the gale. Even then, the wind was still picking up, and the flaps increasing got louder. It was then that an unfamiliar scent filled the air infront of us and I could hear foot-steps not too far away. A darkened silhouette began to emerge from the inside of the trees. It didn't take us long to realise just who it was. It was then that the source of the flapping fluttered down from the sky. A singular puffin hovered down and landed on the shoulder of the person who had now made themselves clear in identity. Three katana's were held at his side, his green jacket flapped in the wind, almost dancing with his black hair, as an owl pendant hung from his neck. Erza stood in silence at the sight of her son. "Matt..." She whispered, her voice lost in the everlasting wind. Matt, simply grinned.
