After having a huge talk with Mirajane about myself, meeting the Guild Master, meeting all but one person in the Guild because he wasn‘t around, Erza gave me a tour of the building. It seems that some things had changed from what mom had told me all those years ago. As it turns out, two years after ‘The Grand Magic Games’, Makarov finally did what he said he was planning to do for years and retired. Given how long he’d been the Guild Master, he loves this place dearly and sees everyone here as his family. He still more or less lives here and still chews Natsu’s ears off for wrecking the place all the time. And Laxus changed his ways enough to make him a popular guy in the Guild and managed to impress and make Makarov proud enough of him to become Guild Master successor. So he now runs the place with his ever-appearing and protective, personal body-guards the ‘Thunder Tribe.’ According to Erza he’s doing really well and already every person in the Guild looks up to him.

I met back up with Mira who then placed the Guild Mark on my neck and on Mia’s back. Mine was black and Mia was being insistent that she had the same colour as mine so that hers would match and we’d be a pair. I honestly don’t think either of us have ever been happier, we finally members of the inspirational Fairy Tail Guild. When the place had finally started to calm down, me, Natsu, Happy, Erza, Gray, Lucy, Carla all tried to fit around a single table. And it was quite a squash to say the least. It was no surprise either that Natsu and Gray were covered in bumps and bruises after breaking the door. I thought I’d seen a little glimmer in Erza’s eye after she showed me around. That must have been why. Carla and Mia were sitting in the middle of the table laughing and discussing seemingly about me and Wendy, which I have to admit, I was trying to listen in. Purely because I know Mia was going to subtly throw something into the conversation about me that I wouldn’t notice otherwise that I’d likely find embarrassing.

“So, Nat, what Magic do you use?“ Lucy asked politely, smiling after taking a sip of her drink. “Yeah, what type of Mage are you? You didn’t say earlier, did you?” Added Gray, whilst him and Natsu were having a foot fight beneath the table. “No, I didn’t did I? Sorry about that..” I replied. “Well… I’m a Shadow Dragonslayer.” I continued. The table was quiet for a moment apart from Carla and Mia who were still chatting. “Really? That’s amazing!” Lucy replied with a surprised look on her face, which turned into a happy smile. “So that’s five Dragonslayers we have now then… That’s incredible!” Smiled Erza kindly. “At this rate, there will be no-one in Fiore that’ll be able to take us down!” Added Gray. Then all of a sudden, Natsu looked at me and smiled a huge grin that seemed to cover his whole face. “FIGHT ME!” He yelled fiercely. “I WANNA TEST YOU!” He began to climb up onto the table, pointing his finger directly at me, almost in my face due to the size of the table we were sitting around. Gray suddenly shot his head to the side in Natsu’s direction, and gave him a good thump to the ribs, making him stumble backwards off the table and land face first on the floor. “Give it a rest, hothead! She’s had to walk on foot here for hours and she’s only just got here!” He yelled. Interrupting the party that was just about to kick off between Natsu and Gray, a young boy ran into the Guild, and headed straight towards us.

“Natsu..!” He started, panting for breath as he stopped at the table. “Have you seen the big guy anywhere? He told me he’d show me some of his moves yesterday, but I turned up too late and he’d already gone! And now I can’t find him.. I don’t suppose you’ve seen him anywhere have you? “ He questioned with a desperate look on his face. Natsu and Gray stopped tackling each other. “Yo Romeo! You mean Skyjor? Nope, sorry kid, I ain’t seen him anywhere since yesterday.” Natsu replied, rubbing the boys hair, who I now knew as Romeo. I then noticed Macao walking over to us as the look on Romeo’s face became sullen and disappointed. “Are you still looking for Skyjor, Romeo? He bent down and hugged the boy. “Yes..” Romeo replied, dully. “I think he might have left already on another Job..” Macao added. Romeo’s gaze slowly turned to me as he sniffed, calming down. “I’m sorry, I didn’t notice you before. Are you a new Guild member?” He began to smile. “Yes I am,” I smiled back. “I came in earlier this morning. I’m Natalie. Nice to meet you!“ I continued, giving him a little wave. “It’s good to meet you too! I’m Romeo, this is my dad!” He smiled and said cheerfully, Macao began to smile too. “I don’t suppose you saw Skyjor earlier, when you were coming here did you?” He quieried, still smiling. “Well, I did, but.. He was walking further into the forest. It seemed as if he was travelling back out of Magnolia.” I replied, trying not to discourage him. “I guess he did go on another job then…” He began, drooping his head to face the table. “Oh well! I guess I’ll just have to make him show me next time when he comes back!” He suddenly perked back up before yelling bye and running back off.

Macao chuckled and smiled before looking at me. “That was my son, Romeo. You didn’t get to meet him this morning because he was back at home. Other than Natsu, he’s a huge fan of Skyjor. He’s almost like a second Gildarts around here, although not many people actually know that much about him, he doesn’t talk much when he’s actually here. The person that actually knows him well isn’t here that much either…” He said, almost confusing himself and putting his hand to his mouth. “He spoke to me when I met him this morning, but he didn’t tell me what Magic he uses…” I spoke, puzzled. “That’s rare…” Macao started. “Like I said, he doesn’t usually speak to people, especially outside of the Guild unless it’s the person that sent a job request.” He said, pulling over a chair to sit with us. Mia then came and sat next to my arm on the table, joining the conversation in curiosity. Carla listened too. “I can tell you what I know though.” He continued, trying to fold his arms on the already packed table. “From what I’ve heard from Mirajane who he spoke to a few weeks ago, he’s from the mountains. And.. He was abandoned there too. And the Wolf that he has with him at all times he’s had since it was a pup.” He spoke, using his hands to motion his story telling. “He was… Abandoned?” Lucy asked, shocked, “That‘s terrible..“ Natsu followed, lowering his head slightly. “But here’s the thing.” Macao said meaningfully. “That guy’s an Earth Dragonslayer. And a strong one at that.” He spoke, focusing on us intently. The whole of the tables takers jaws dropped. All except for Natsu. “THAT’S IT!!” He shouted, blowing flames everywhere, and nearly knocking the table over. “AS SOON AS HE GETS BACK, I’M SPARRIN’ THAT GUY! BUT BEFORE THAT, I’M GONNA SPAR YOU!!” He was almost screaming. Mira was walking past holding a serving tray and a few beer glasses. “If only he put that much effort into not being destructive..” She giggled a little. ‘Well… This is going to be fun!’ I thought laughing along.
