Total drama world tour: Gwen's POV

Chapter 10: Mistakes were made

    "Gwen?"

"Um, sorry?"

"It's okay, how long have you felt this was though?"

I wish I could tell him it was an accident but he would hate me, but then again, I could use this to make Duncan show his true feelings for me. I didn't buy into his bullshit story. I don't believe him.

"For a while now. Can we restart?"

"I've been waiting for those words to come out of your mouth since this season started".

"Yeah, well, here they are! Haha".

This was very awkward for me because I don't like him. I always get myself in bad situations.

"Do you want to listen to me play guitar?"

"Sure, how about we do it near the girls cabin?"

I knew Duncan would be there with Courtney so I had to take the chance.

"Okay?"

I walked beside him with our hands intertwined together. This was going to be awful.

"Here we are, what are you going to play?"

"A love story".

Oh god, here we are again. Him being incredibly clingy.

"Oh Gwen, I love you. So much! And I can't help but falling for you all over again. Even though you broke my heart. Even though you killed my hope. So what?"

This song was awful.

"Gwen?"

"Oh, hey Duncan. How are you doing?"

"Good I guess. We just talked like an hour ago."

"Yep, we sure did. I'm just sitting here with my boyfriend, Trent."

"Boyfriend?"

Duncan gave me a confused look and then smiled.

"Oh, have fun".

"You too".

"I will".

He turned around and kissed Courtney. They made up fast. Faster then I would have liked it.  She gave me a warm smile and I turned around to face Trent. He could tell something was up but chose to ignore it because he didn't want to embarrass me. I already felt like shit. I got up and went to my bunk. I guess it takes work to get someone you care for to love you back. This was going to be a challenge I did not want to go through. I watched as Duncan and Courtney flirted back and fourth. Duncan would occasionally look up at me but then quickly glance back to Courtney so she wouldn't become suspicious. My life sucks. I'm stuck with a guy I hate and Duncan is in love with the girl I despise. Maybe one day we can be happy, but for now, I have to come up with a plan. I have to get Courtney voted off.
