Maka POV

"What?" I ask

"I was tuning their piano. It was beautiful!" He repeats

"No, who's piano?!"

"The Evans up on uh, the top of hickory hill." He scratches his head.

"Thank you!" I shake his hand. I run over to papa who's eating for me. "Papa I know where they are!"

"Where?!"

"Hickory hill!"

"Its 9:30 we should get to bed. We'll get up first thing in the morning. You need your sleep!" Papa says. I know papa won't let me go. So I'll leave when he is sleeping.

"Where is Sid?"

"He's dead he doesn't sleep. He is doing whatever he does." Papa answers. I nod. We make our way upstairs. I read my book until papa falls asleep. I grab paper and a pen.

Papa, I couldn't wait any longer to save my family. You would understand. I love you papa. Thank you for everything.
Maka

I walk out the room and go to the front desk.

"Excuse me?" I ask

"How may I help you?" The woman asks politely.

"Can you give me the directions to hickory hill?"

"Yeah go up the road about a mile and turn right on cottonwood and at the end of the road take a left and you'll go up a hill and there is about 4 mansions up there."

"Thank you!" I run out and see the roads empty. I start walking the way the women at the front desk told me to go. I see a couple cars here and there. I reach cottonwood. I walk up to the end of the long street. Was it left or right? I stand there and think for awhile. What way was it? I go right. As I'm going right I notice that its going down hill. I run back up and go left instead. Now I'm going up hill. It is a big hill. Then there is a fence. I walk up to it. It has a keypad. I don't know the number...

"Hope I don't get caught." I say out loud. I climb the fence and jump off. I walk swiftly up the hill. I see one mansion. How do I know if its it or not? I look at it closely. I walk closer to it. I see a plack on their fence.

The Simons.

No. Not them. I walk further. Another mansion.

The Oxfords

No. Not them either. Two more mansions. I walk a long time before I get to the next one.

"Please be it!"

The Nobles

Sigh.. No. Maybe the last one? I walk more. I have been walking for two hours. My legs are getting really tired. I can't stand this much longer. I can barley keep my eyes open. I see another mansion. I walk closer to it.

The Lanes

"No! It can't be! I-i thought... I'm sorry soul, mia." I sit down. My legs hurt so much. I lay down to rest but when I try to get up I cant. I fall asleep shortly after.

"Ma'am?" I was waken up by a voice. "Are you alright?" A British voice. I open my eyes to a old man in a suit. He seems to be a Butler. Hm typical, a British Butler.

"Uh." My mind races. He helps me up.

"I almost hit you with my car dear! I saw you sleeping in the middle of the road on my way to the store." He points to his running car.

"What time is it?" I ask

"Why it's almost noon! Now are you going to tell why you are here or not?"

"Noon!?.. Um I was lost. I was looking, for the Evans mansion."

"Oh! My master lives up there!" He points to a road that I couldn't see earlier because it was too dark. "Now why are you looking for them?"

"Your master? Er I was just going to um..". What if knows who I am?! No if he did I would have already been dead. I need to make an excuse of why I'm here. "I came to tune the piano, but I fainted."

"Oh my I'm so sorry! I didn't know they asked someone to tune it again. Wait where is your supplies?"

"In my car?" I say worried he can tell I'm lying. "I just need to um make sure that the piano needs tuning first." I try to smile.

"Um OK? Well I have to go. Go up the hill a little ways. Bye!" He gets in the car and leaves. I fave and then make my way back up the hill. When I get to the top I see the fence.

The Evans

Perfect. The fence is open. Probably because the butler was leaving. I walk through. I make my way to the front. I'm here.
