Im Changkyun

I walked home with Jieun by my side. I waited for this moment ever since I saw her, but this is not exactly what I wanted. She begged me, instead I should have asked her to come in with me. At the same time, I was scared and nervous as happy and excited. I get to see her more often but what if I fail and hurt her. She's a girl after all and I'm a boy after all. I should control my feelings and protect her instead of thinking of myself and do something to her (because boys are boys, you know what I mean).

"S-so, do you have any money?" I said awkwardly. She looked at me directly then looked back at the ground with her face down. She shook her head slightly. "I left everything." She whispered loud enough for me to hear.

"My mom said she'll send me 800 euros a month, apart from school, water and electricity bills, she said she'll pay them and I pay for the apartment only. The apartment rent is 250. So we can actually share money because 550 is so much I guess." I stated. "Are you saying you'll give me money?" I nodded innocently.

"What do I have to do in repay? Clean your house? Wash your clothes? Just tell me and I'll do whatever you like. I'm so thankful you accepted me anyway." And I'm thankful you want to stay. "Oh we're here." I grabbed my key and started playing with it nervously as we walked in.

"Oh my shoe laces are untied." I looked at my shoes. I stopped to tie them up as Jieun continued walking. She was now in front of me. I walked faster to catch up to her. I looked around and my eyes stopped at her butt. I'm not a pervert I swear. Trust me. The first thing i noticed was a red stain on her jeans. My eyes widened in shock. Her jacket barely covered her back. Why Jieun, why?

"Jieun!" I called her. She turned around. "Don't turn around! Look in front of you!" She raised a brow and muttered an 'Okaay?'. I ran towards her and put my long jacket on her shoulders. "Just put this on, it must be cold here." I said, keeping my hands on the jacket, on her shoulders. "But we're inside." She wanted to take it off but I stopped her.

"Just keep it on, there are many perverts here." I made up. "Oh okay." She said. We entered the elevator and dropped at the eleventh floor. I walked in front of her to lead her the way. I opened the apartment door and held the door open for her.

"It's a mess here since I still haven't unpacked my stuff." There was boxes and luggage everywhere in the apartment. My mom already made sure the apartment was clean before my stuff arrived here. She also placed couches and tables and all interior that were needed. Such a great mom I have. I had to bid my goodbyes to her early this morning. I miss her already.

"Should I help you unpack?" She asked as she placed my jacket on one of the chairs around. "Let's just eat first." I said and she nodded. "Should I cook?" She really sounded desperate to help. "Nah you look tired, go rest." I told her and she thanked me.

She lied on the couch and as soon as she was asleep, I called my best friend Hyungwon.

"Hyungwon? Ah hi, listen I need your help. Is your girlfriend with you at the moment?"

"Yes why?"

"Can I talk to her for a moment please?"

"Okay"

I waited for him to hand his girlfriend the phone.

"Hello?"

"Uhm hi, listen. Can you please bring some girl's clothes, a towel and something you use when you're on your period. It's an emergency, please hurry up. I'll pay you everything back." I said whispering the word 'period'.

"Uh.. sure?" I can imagine her looking weird right now but who cares.

"Good. I'll send Hyungwon the address, don't come alone. Bye." I ended the phone call and sighed.

20 minutes later

Chae Jieun

Stalker with cheeks woke me up to eat. He made spaghetti. I thanked him for the food and began eating in silence.

"Hey, what's your name actually?" I asked. "It's Im Changkyun." He answered shortly and continued eating. "Mine is Chae Jieun." I said trying to keep the conversation alive. "I know." He smiled. "I think we should get to know each other better since we're both going to live under one roof." He said. Saying it like that made me feel like we're a couple. "Hm, you're right." I nodded. "So? Do you have any rules for me staying here?" He looked around, chewing on his food. "No, I don't think so. Just make yourself home." I nodded.

"Thank you for letting me stay." I said once more. "Could you stop thanking me, I said you had to make yourself home." But my home was such a hell.

We continued eating and talked together. He opened himself up to me and I tried to do so as well. But it was difficult. I thought about letting him know what happened to me and I was finally ready.

"Hey, Changkyun. The reason I walked aw-" I was nervous telling him, I wasn't this sure if I should have trusted him. He trusted me though. "I walked away because-" I stopped when I heard the doorbell ring. "I'll go." He said and stood up, opening the door.

As soon as he opened the door, I heard a boy and a girl coming in. "Hey how are you man?" The boy said. "Why did you need this?" The girl's voice asked. They walked in revealing a very handsome tall man and a cute short girl. I stood up immediately and greeted them. "Hello." I said scanning their faces. "This is Jieun, she's my roommate. Roommate? I never thought of it that way. "A girl as roommate?" The tall guy frowned. Why does he look disgusted?

"Yes, a girl as roommate." Changkyun said and raised his brows proudly. "Jieun, this is Hyungwon and his girlfriend Eundong. "Hi!" The girl smiled cheekily. I still didn't tell Changkyun about what happened back home. My courage was gone.

Hi, I'm back on wattpad and as you can see, I tried coming on wattpad as much as I could when I was on hiatus. I still have so much to read and I'm working on a new story called 'stone', I'm not sure if I should continue writing it or deleting it yet but so you guys know, I'm a very busy personㅜ.ㅜ Thanks to everyone who supported this book, I'm really happy.
