I sat on the ledge of the fountain playing on my phone. Adrian came up from behind me and hugged me. I wriggled out of his grip. "Please don't."
"My car is over here. Your parents know, right?"
"Uh yeah." I stuttered
He found that amusing and playfully punched my arm. I forced out a laugh and walked faster. Adrian unlocked the car and I got in the front. I buckled up and he started the ignition. He pulled out and turned down the next street. He pulled into the mansion neighborhood. Oh no he's rich. He parked in the driveway of a brown house. Adrian opened my door and playfully pushed me. I smiled, I barely know this guy and I'm going to his house. Does this make sense? He unlocked the front door. "We will be home alone til 5:30," he explained.
Okay. Calm down Grace. Nothing bad will happen.
"Want a snack?" he said as he held the door open.
"Sure."
I sat down on his leather couch. Adrian came out of his house with a plate full of cheese and crackers and a 2 cups of water.
"Thank you," I smiled.
"You're welcome. Now you return the favor. Tell me about yourself."
I was shocked. He's a famous jock... he couldn't possibly ACTUALLY care about me. "I moved
lhere in June because of my mother. My mom divorced my dad for he was an alcoholic, abuser, drug addict, and had many affairs. I have little brother named Xavier. I have a dog named Lenny. My mom is pretty much my best friend." I took a breath and sipped my water.
"My dad is in the navy. My mom is a doctor, I have a little sister, her name is Carrie. I have a cat named Peaches," Adrian shoved a piece of cheese in his mouth and smile.
