Chaper 7 (Strong Language)

GRACE'S DAD'S POV
I can't believe she just fell. I never had any idea she had panic attacks. I wanted to go visit her but I knew she would push me away if she could. I paced outside Xavier's room. Amanda came up.
"Daniel, she's fine but doesn't want to see you, she's pissed at you," Amanda said.
"God damn it," I punched the door. "I wish I had never been a pathetic father."
"Daniel you need to calm down," Amanda put her hand on my back and rubbed.
I was in tears, "I love them. I fucking hate this. God damn it."
"Now why don't you tell me the real reason you are here?"
"Okay, Amanda I am in love with you, and I want you and the kids back," I heaved a heavy sigh.
"Daniel..." Amanda was staring off into space.
"Amanda I am a changed man," I stated.
She bit her lip, "I don't know."
"Please. I am off all the things I was addicted to. Plus I am taking therapy for my anger issues."
"Daniel, Grace would never forgive me."
"Please one last chance," I put my arm around her.
"Okay. We are dating NOT married," Amanda smiled. I knew she still loved me.
"Thank you babe," I leaned in for a kiss and she puckered up too.
"Please don't be a shitty ass dad..."
"I won't. Promise."

GRACE'S POV
I woke up and two smiling faces were around me. Daniel and mom. What?
"What?" I asked.
"Darling," mom sat on my bed, "You may hate me forever, but Daniel and I are now dating again."
"Mom. No. This. Isn't. Okay," I stammered.
"He convinced me he is a changed man," mom smiled at Daniel.
"I am a changed man," he kissed mom.
"I am never calling you dad, after what happened," I lifted up my hospital gown and showed him the scar on my stomach.
"Please, I am just asking you accept your mom and I falling for each other again," Daniel smiled.
I burst out crying. Too much was going on.
"Your fath- Daniel and I called Adrian. He is on his way," mom said smiling.
A few minutes later Adrian came in.
"Mom can we be alone?" and she left.
"It's going to be okay," he ran his fingers over my face.
I cried some more. I felt broken.
"I need to ask you this. Though we haven't known each other for a week. Will you be my girlfriend?" Adrian smiled.
"Woah. We haven't known each other for five days."
"Please Grace? You are so beautiful and I think I am in love."
"Sure. I will be your girlfriend.
