mrs. martinez stood over her daughter's hospital bed. her daughter scowled at her.

"i hate you!" melanie yelled. her mother was taken aback at her outburst.

"m-melanie, what's gotten into you?" mrs. martinez asked in shock.

"you kicked me out and hurt me for being bisexual. why are you here? you wouldn't care that i attempted suicide!" melanie yelled, a tear rolling down her cheek. "hell, i shouldn't even still be alive! i should've died! i should be with ashley right now!"

"you didn't attempt suicide, you got in a car crash. you never even told us you were bisexual! i don't hate you for-"

"mrs. martinez, please come to my office with me. i need to inform you of some things," the doctor said calmly. mrs. martinez gave her daughter a worried look before walking to the doctor's office. the doctor's name was doctor frangipane.
