"ashley, what's your kik?" melanie asked as she ate her lucky charms. yes, lucky charms, because why the fuck not.

"i'm not saying because it's very embarrassing," ashley replied as she nibbled on her toast.

"i swear to god, if it's ash hates mel i'm going to scream."

ashley laughed nervously. "no, it's nothing like that," she stammered. melanie laughed.

"it obviously is."

"okay, fuck you," ashley muttered, though she was still smiling. melanie quickly requested to chat with ashley.

"oh my god, yours is melon martini," ashley laughed. melanie blushed and hit her arm. ashley accepted the chat as soon as it was requested.

"shut up."

"um, hey, can i sit here?" the girl with pink hair asked nervously.

"of course!" melanie replied happily. the pink haired girl smiled and sat next to melanie.

"your name is ariel, right?" ashley asked.

"kind of," the pink haired girl replied. melanie gave her a look of confusion.

"kind of?"

"it's spelt like ariel, but it's pronounced R-E-L," ariel said with a laugh. "it's okay, most people mess it up."

"melanie, why are you texting me? i'm literally right next to you," ashley giggled. melanie shrugged.

"because i wanted to, dummy," melanie replied, sticking her tongue out at ashley.

"otp," ariel said quickly. melanie and ashley blushed and turned to look at ariel. ariel just shrugged. "it's true. anyway, lemme join that kik chat."

"um, why?" ashley raised an eyebrow at ariel.

"because i'm a desperate loner, duh," ariel replied as though the answer was obvious.

"what's your kik?" melanie asked.

"lemme type it in," ariel said before snatching melanie's phone away and typing her username in, before adding herself to the chat. she handed melanie her phone.

"i'm surprised we haven't gotten caught for using phones when we're not supposed to," ashley pointed out. melanie shrugged.

"it's a good thing we haven't."
