"ash?" melanie called out to ashley as she entered their room.

"hm?" ashley replied, looking up from her phone to face melanie.

"um, do the people here have the same personalities as they do in the dream?" melanie asked curiously. ashley shrugged.

"kind of. some things are different. mostly the same, though," ashley replied. melanie nodded. silence filled the air.

"do you think we'd ever be in a relationship in real life?" melanie asked suddenly. ashley froze.

"i-i don't know. i feel like we should get to know each other in real life more, though," ashley stammered.

"well yeah, i was just wondering. just- just forget i asked."
