One Way Out

"Now do you mind letting us out?"

"I'm sorry I can't let you leave, two of you have been infected.They must be terminated." The A.I replied sounding oddly apologetic.

We looked at Rain who was looking really sick and pale. The bite was definitely getting worst. I placed my hand on her forehead and noticed that she was also running a fever. Matt wasn't looking so good himself, his face was ghostly pale and he looked deathy ill. 

“There has to be a way to help them.” I growled at Red," There must be something I can do."

"There is a way, you are the key Amelia." She said cryptically.

I kneeled beside Rain and said," This is going to be really gross but you need to drink my blood. It's the only way, my cells have already bonded with the virus and it should help you.

I cut the palm of my hand with my knife and grabbed a clean vial to pour it in. She tentatively took the vial and drank some of my blood. " You taste like shit." She growled looking slightly better.

"Thanks." I muttered. I took the vial back and filled it with my blood for Matt. He gulped it down quickly before he could puke.

"Are they good to go now?" I said to Red.

"The infection is no longer spreading, it seems like your blood might hold the key to developing a cure." Red said opening the door.

We quickly raced to the transportation room with 10 minutes to spare. The tech guy that I found out was called Kaplan decided to scare us when he showed up out of nowhere. I helped Rain onto the train with her protesting. Matt followed behind us looking slightly better than before. Alice came back with a vial filled with some strange liquid. apparently it was the cure and she injected Rain and Matt just incase my blood didn't work.

"After this I'm getting laid." Rain muttered.

"You might want to clean up first." I said taking in her disheveled state.

I leaned against a wall and closed my eyes. Someone plopped down beside me and I leaned against their shoulder.

"I remember you now." Alice said.

"It’s about time, I thought you were going to be clueless forever."

"All of this is my fault." She muttered.

"No its Umbrella's fault, they got us mixed up in this crazy shit and they are the ones trying to create bio weapons."

Alice didn't say anything after that and I slowly started to drift off. The train finally came to a stop and we came up to the large staircase. Behind us a large wall came down and blocked the entrance to the hive.

"We finally made it out of the hell hole."

I grinned at Alice as we helped Rain and Matt up the steps. "Home sweet home," I smirked.

Alice grinned but suddenly her smile faded. A line of umbrella agents stood before us. Behind them was the person who turned me into a freak.

"Cain." I growled launching myself at him. I fought off the soldiers but there were too many. I was soon overwhelmed and heard Alice screaming my name and Rain's. I saw Matt being restrained by two agents and Rain being strapped to a gurney.They injected something into my neck and I blacked out once again.

"God I freaking hate Umbrella." I thought before the world turned black.
