This is Not the End (Resident Evil Fanfic)

Arcadia

We made our way through the empty ship, there wasn't a soul in sight. We searched the ship and came across a huge empty white room. 

"Where is everyone?" Claire asked.

I studied the area, looking for anything out of the ordinary. I noticed a strange design on the floor and traced my fingers along the pattern. Alice found a tablet laying abandoned on the ground, she turned it on and the screen was flooded with images of people.

"They're underneath us." I gasped.

Alice quickly found an image of KMart and brought her up as well as everyone else. Capsules began to slowly rise from the ground, releasing a white mist. As they opened up one by one, people began to emerge from their capsule. We ran towards KMart's capsule in time to catch her before she could fall. She gasped awake and scrambled way from us in confusion. The red flaring scarab attached to her chest shone against her stark white clothes. We were able to get it off of her as Claire calmed her down.

Alice and I observed the other capsules and noticed one that was full of blood. We followed the trail that lead to a loading dock filled with there were helicopters and ships of all sizes. The doors slammed shut behind us, effectively locking us in.

"There's someone still here." I whispered to Alice. We split up to find an exit, as I looked around I noticed something familiar.

I smirked reading the sign," Do Not Remove". I never liked following rules and carefully took it out of it's spot. Alice came back and saw the object in my hands. I laughed," It's a little present." 

Moments Later.......

I heard a click behind me as an annoying voice said," Don't move."

"You little rat." I growled turning around to see Bennett pointing a gun at us.

He motioned us to enter a room, Alice grabbed my arm restraining me from doing anything stupid.

"Back from the dead so soon?" I said sarcastically as Wesker stood arrogantly before us.

"All thanks to a little handy virus." He replied.

"I've been wanting to do this since the moment I saw you." I said quickly turning around and kicking the gun out of Bennett's slimy hands. His hand broke in the process and he craddle it into to his chest.

"You bitch." He snarled making me smirk in response. 

Alice caught the gun as it slide to her feet and pointed it at Wesker. A warning growl behind us caused me to turn around. There were two zombified dogs, growling at us waiting to strike at any moment. A surge of power flooded through me and in that moment I knew what to do. My head tilted to the side slightly as I commanded the dogs to attack Wesker. My power was fighting against Wesker's control over the dogs but my power proved to be stronger as the dogs launched at him, sailing past us as Alice watched in amazement.

"Did you-?"

"Dogs love to learn new tricks." I smirked.

One dog managed to bite Wesker's arm while the other dog circled around him.

However the dogs were only able to slow Wesker down for a second, with fluid movements he twisted the neck of one dog and smacked the other one across the room.

"You are full of surprises Amelia." He said as his wounds healed.

"It was a pleasure knowing you." He said trying to get the jump on us.

Alice's reflexes kicked in and shot him in the head but unfortuanately it quickly healed. 

I exchanged blows with Wesker but I could see him quickly getting stronger as he adapted to my movements. With a powerful kick I was able to launch him across the room and into the wall. He quickly got up, lunging towards me when Claire and Chris appeared behind him with guns locked and loaded.

The quickly shot at him but he dodged every bullet, soon they were overpowered and he locked them into capsules. Bennett tried to sneak up on Alice with a knife but I was able to grabbed his wrist and twist it out of his grip. I grabbed the knife and was able to stab it in Wesker's head as he lunged towards Alice. He gasped and backed away from Alice and I. I thought it was over as he collasped on the ground but as soon as he was down he quickly got back up.

KMart shouted from behind us and threw the shotgun at Alice. Alice caught it and shot Wesker in the head. He stumbled and fell on his back, his brain exposed underneath his cracked skull. I quickly freed Claire and Chris from their icy prison. They got out and stood above Wesker, shooting round after round of bullets into his body.

"People just don't know how to die these days." I said.

"Dont even try." Alice said glancing at Bennett trying to escape.

We left Bennett behind, the doors locking him in. A series of growls sounded behind us and the screaming began.

Suddenly we could hear the sound of a plane starting.

"Hurry!" Alice said running towards the deck. I ran after her with the Redfields and KMart on my heels.

We made it to the observation deck in time to see a plane fly away before it suddenly exploded in a fiery ball of metal. The hot flames engulfed the plane, not even ashes were left.

"We didn't want you to miss this." I said laughing.

Everyone other than Alice and I were shocked into silence before they started smiling and laughing in relief.

"Expect the unexpected." I replied, a tiny smile tugging at the corners of my lips. 

Before us, all of the survivors emerged from below decks in a sea of white.

"I didn't expect that there would be so many survivors." Claire said.

"Neither did we." I replied.

We headed inside to the command center. The broadcast was still playing repeated the words safety, security and no infection over and over again. A message full of empty promises to lure unsuspected people into a trap. Alice began to record a new broadcast, something that would instill hope in those who were still struggling to survive out there in the world.

"This is Arcadia, we promise safety, security, food and shelter, an infection free place." Her words rang out.

I grinned as she finished but my smiled soon faded as I heard the drone of helicopters overhead. We ran out of the room and looked up at the sky. A sky full helicopters, flashing Umbrella's sinister logo. 

"What is that?" KMart asked.

"Trouble." Alice and I responded, pulling out our weapons.
