Chapter 34 - The End

Ash's POV

I turned around and faced the devil whom spoke and interrupted Titan and I's moment.

"Will you ever just give up? You can never kill me." I told my father.

He chuckled and shook his head. "Don't you understand that this is not about you anymore, Ash. This is about Titan and I. Although you do come in play in the situation."

I felt Titan grab onto my waist and put me behind him, shielding me from my father.

"I think you need to leave," Titan told him.

My father looked at Titan and smiled deeply.

"Titan..." My father said, sounding choked up.

I looked at my father confusedly. Is he about to cry?

"Leave," Titan demanded once again.

My father shook his head and looked right at me. "Ash, Do you know what Titan and I used to have?"

Titan turned around and grabbed onto my wrist, pulling me away.

"We loved each other!" My father shouted, making Titan stop, me falling into his back.

Titan turned around and looked at my father with anger before turning to me.

"I will explain later," He told me.

"No! You explain now!" My father shouted at him. Titan turned and looked over at my father with hate.

"I will do no such thing. It's in the past. I never even loved you," Titan said, making my father shake his head.

I could sense that Titan was lying and that my father was sad and angry. Why would Titan lie to me? I thought we was passed that...

"Did you and my father used to have something?" I asked Titan, hoping he wouldn't lie to me.

Titan looked at me and took a deep breath before looking down at the ground and slowly nodding with shame.

I stepped back and shook my head.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, sadness laced within my voice.

Titan looked up at me, trying to put his hand on me but I wouldn't allow it. He sighed and scratched at the back of his head nervously.

"Because it was before I met you. I didn't think it would be important," he told me. I couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"Wasn't important?! How the hell was that not important when it involved my father and you? God knows what you two did!" I shouted at Titan.

"We made love.... A lot...." My father laughed.

I turned towards him, giving him the death stare. How dare he? Why?

I turned back towards Titan as he spoke. "I wanted to forget about it, ok? I didn't think it would matter because it was in the past. Everyone has a past, Ash. You may not like it, but it's there. You have a past, I may not like some of the shit that is in there but I deal with it. So deal with the fact that I used to be with your Satan of a father."

I was stunned. Titan has yet to talk to me like this. Is he really turning into a human? Am I doing this to him?

"I would like to make an offer... A peace treaty..." My father offered. Titan and I both turned and looked at him.

"Go on," Titan spoke up.

My father smirked and said, "I remove the kill target that is out for Ash on one condition." Titan and I both looked at each other in worry. What is my father planing? Is this where it all ends?

"On the condition of Titan coming with me," He added. I looked at him in anger.

"No" I said at the same time Titan said, "Ok"

I looked over at him as he looked at me.

"You are not going with him. Are you crazy?" I asked, pointing at my father.

"This is the only way for all of this to end, Ash." He told me.

I shook my head and said, "I do not care, Titan. I am not going to lose you over some irrelevant bastard."

Titan cupped my cheeks, making me look him in the eyes.

"This all ends now. Get out of here and never come back. Run far as possible. It's time that you start fresh. Always remember that I am doing this because I love you. Goodbye Ash." He said before placing one last kiss on my lips and turning away, walking right towards the devil.

"Please," I sobbed.

Titan took one last look at me before walking away.

And in that moment, I knew nothing will be the same.
