As I boarded my flight, my mind went back to the day I'd had at school. It was full of tears, laughter, and tight hugs, just none directed at me. As I said earlier, once the loner girl, always the loner girl. Although, this one guy, he had stopped to say "goodbye," he'd even hugged me, but then as I was heading out to lunch, I saw him get a high-five from some kid, and then was handed a twenty. To be honest, it didn't surprise me all that much. I saw it coming.

In a way, I was kinda glad that Luke was my only friend. That way, I could leave without any strings attached, and just promise to visit every Christmas and on Birthdays. The only people, other than that jerk, that I'd said bye to were actually my family members; mum, dad, and Heather.

Mum and Dad had cried, holding onto me for dear life, and telling me how much they'd miss me, and that I'd better visit every month or so. I just laughed, knowing that they'd probably forget about me after a while.

Heather, on the other hand, all but grew wings and flew me to the airport, screaming out "go get him, Chicken! Don't let him go!" After me, causing me to laugh and nearly face plant the floor. I laughed at the memory, as bad as this may sound, I'd miss her the most.

I started walking down the aisle, looking for my seat number my paren't had booked for me, only to find out I was stuck in between two boys. I frowned, not all that happy with this outcome, as I slid past one of them, flopping into my seat.

Both boys, who had been chatting quite happily leaning into my seat, shut up, their gazes locking onto me. I felt myself blush instantly, wishing to be anywhere but here.

"Hi, I'm Calum," the guy from my left said, smiling broadly at me. I studied him, discovering dark brown eyes and hair, although his hair was half-hidden behind a beanie. At first I'd labeled him as Asian, I'm not gonna lie, but he had a strong Australian accent, so maybe he was a mix?

"I'm kiwi and Scottish," he clarified, and I blushed. I'd obviously been caught out in the act of checking him out.

"Ignore Cal, he's weird. I'm Michael, but everyone calls me Mike or Mikey," the guy, Mikey, said to me and I beamed at him.

"I'm Tia," I introduced myself to them, earning myself heart-fluttering smiles from them, just like the ones Luke would give me. Maybe it was just an Australian thing, these boys both had the accent, so it'd make sense. Maybe I'd get one of those smiles after a while.

"Well, Tia, what brings you to Ozzy?" Calum asked, and I felt my spirits lower slightly at the reminder of Luke leaving me. I pushed the feeling back, slapping a smile on my face.

"I had a friend who lived here, he told me a lot about it here, and I just had to come here and see the beauty for myself," I nodded once.

"Aw, well, where is he? Your friend, I mean?" Mikey asked, and I sighed. I knew they meant no harm, but it was just thinking about Luke, possibly seeing Luke again, I liked the idea so much it hurt.

I reached into my carry on bag, grabbing my phone and headphones, going though one of Luke's play lists. "He moved back here two years ago," I murmured, searching for a song.

"Is that another reason why you're coming here? To see him again?" Mikey questioned, going through his phone too, already with one earphone in his ear.

I found the song I was looking for, and an easy grin found its way onto my mouth as the into started to play.

"Something like that, yeah. I'm going to try to get some sleep, goodnight Mikey, goodnight Cal," I said, crouching down in my seat.

"Goodnight, Tia."
