I stepped into my apartment, closing the door behind me. It had a pretty basic layout, not going to lie, but it was mine. All my furniture is being shipped across as we speak, so it's really bare too, making everything seem dull and unlovely. It had a living room type main area, and three other doors that lead into my bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette.
I sighed, throwing my carry-on and suitcase down wherever, and pulled out my phone, sending a quick text to Heather, letting her know that I'd gotten here safely, and changing the time-zone.
I sighed again, feeling quite lonely. This was it for now, just me. I generally had no one, other than two random boys that I met on a plane. At least at home I had family, that was something.
I frowned, debating my options. I could go next door, and talk to him, apologise again, and order a pizza for us to eat. Or I could text Mikey and Cal, get them to come round, and order a pizza with them. Either way, I wanted pizza and company.
I pulled out my phone, deciding on Mikey and Cal, they could bring their friend from the airport too, if they wanted, I just needed human contact after being neglected from it for so long. I quickly typed out a text, and sending it, instructing them to come round, with the address, and the promise of pizza.
Mikey texted back three seconds later asking what kind of pizza, to which I replied with whatever kind they wanted, and then I got one from Calum, asking if peperoni was cool. I laughed, sending him my approval, and so it was settled.
I started to unpack slightly, only moving around minor things and sorting out the DVD player. I'd opted out for the already furnitured flat, so I could pack lightly and not have to worry about leaving anything behind. I sighed, moving onto something else. Unpacking my clothes.
I was halfway through doing so when I heard the knock on my door, and I smiled widely, knowing they were here now. I walked over to the door, opening it and letting them inside, hiding my shock as I realised they'd doubled in size, because four bodies walked past mine.
I smiled at Cal and Mikey, hugging them both and whispering a soft hello into their shoulders, which they returned. I then turned to face the other two, my eyes finding the guy from outside.
"Hey, I'm Ashton," he smiled, and I smiled back.
"Tia," I introduced myself, pulling him in for a quick hug that he returned.
"Your place is so much nicer than mine," he chuckled, taking a look around.
I laughed, winking at him. "It was already decorated, if I did any of this there would be nothing done, at all."
Ashton smirked, chuckling lightly. "Well, I live right next door, if you ever want to rearrange, just come by," his accent stuck out, and I felt myself melting on the inside. The other boys' accents were pretty and all, but his was so thick and lush I could get lost in it.
"Thank you, I'll keep that in mind," it was his turn to wink, and I blushed, looking away and throwing Mikey and Cal a look of "take him away from me before I eat him," which they seemed to understand.
"Hey, Ash, come here, let's talk pizza and movies," Cal called, and I let out a sigh of relief.
"Yeah, let Tia meet Luke," Mikey cut in, and my eyes shot to the other guy.
Oh my God, after two years, this was him.
It was Luke.
