I sat in my seat on the plane, my eyes easily finding Calum as he was stood near a window, watching the plane.

He raised his hand slightly in a wave, and I choked back my tears, raising mine in return. I refused to cry over a boy.

Even if it is my best friend, whom I had strong feelings for which I'd been repressing for a long while now. My best friend, who I'd kissed, and then left to fly back to England.

I blinked a few times, clearing my eyes from tears completely, glancing downwards as my phone buzzed in my lap.

I opened the text from Calum, my whole chest exploding into thousands of emotions as I read those three words.

From: Calum♡

I love you.

Calum's P.O.V

I watched her plane from the window, hoping she was looking out at me.

I loved her, and I was completely sure of it. When she kissed me, that was all the proof my brain needed. I was in love with Tia.

I raised my hand slowly into a wave, somehow knowing she was watching me, as I was watching her.

I reached into my pocket, pulling out my phone and typing a quick confession to her. Without giving myself the time to change my mind, I sent it, finally telling how I really felt.

She was something completely different, she was special, she was unique, and I'd be lying if I said that I didn't mind her going back home.

I minded a lot, she was all I've ever wanted, and I was letting her go. Its not as if I could force her to stay, tie her to a chair and keep her in my wardrobe. She was a human being, she was allowed to go around, leave her mark, and make mistakes.

I just hope her kissing me wasn't one.

I shot out of bed, realising what today was. Today was the day Tia was going back to the uk. And I had to stop her.

I adored her, and I couldn't stand the thought of her being half a world away.

I ran around my room, finding any item of clothing and throwing them on. I put on a pair of Luke's flip flops that he'd left here, thanking them momentarily for their lack of laces.

I grabbed my phone, checking the time. It was two in the afternoon, I was too late.

I'd lost all chances of having Tia.

I rolled around in bed, placing a kiss on Monique's back as I did so.

"Good morning, handsome," she mumbled, running her fingers through her hair.

"Morning," I smiled at her, looking at the clock next to me. Two thirty pm.

"You know," I tucked a piece of Monique's hair behind her ear, "today Tia's going back to the uk."

"Really?" I nodded, and Monique raised her eyebrows. "How come?"

"Homesickness," I mumbled, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

"That bites, I enjoyed having a girl around," Monique sighed, chewing on her bottom lip.

"Maybe, but she's still trying to find herself. She'll be back, I'm sure of it," I smiled at my girlfriend, and she beamed back.

"I hope so."

Luke's P.O.V

I watched it all. Hers and Calum's goodbye.

I'd come to apologise for everything, and to explain the whole Emma thing to her, hoping that with her going we'd atleast be ending everything on good terms.

But instead, I watched them both exchange small smiles, and interlock their fingers continuously.

I watched her kiss him, and no matter how weird it made my chest feel, I knew it was for the best.

They made eachother happy, and so I was happy for both of them. I think.

I walked up to Calum, putting an arm around his shoulder and smiling sadly at him.

"Come on, lad, smile. She'll be back, she loves you," I told him, ignoring the tightness in my chest.

"But what if she's not, Luke? What if she finds someone in England, and forgets about me?" Cal looked up at me with tear filled eyes, and the tightness in my chest loosened a little.

He really liked her, and so that was it. I was giving Tia up, for Calum. If any of us deserved her, it was him. He was the only one who hadn't fucked with her head in the slightest.

"She won't, mate, trust me. Its you she wants," I smiled at him, and he smiled back, a tear leaving the corner of his eye.

"Come on, Cal, let's go back to mine, I've got some new xbox games we can try out, alright?"

"Alright," Calum cleared his throat, then looking back up at me. "Luke?"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you."
