"Hey sista, go sista, soul sista, flow sista, hey sista, go sista, soul sista, go sista," Calum sang into a hairbrush, me laughing from the sofa uncontrollably, hugging my pillow.

"He met Marmalade down in old Moulin Rouge, struttin' her stuff on the street, she said, 'Hello, hey Jo, you wanna give it a go?' Oh! uh huh," he carried on, dancing in a way that was probably meant to be 'seductive,' but was only making my stomach crease.

"Giuchie, Giuchie, ya ya, dada," I sang loudly, winking at him.

"Giuchie, Giuchie, ya ya, here," he sang back, his composure breaking a little as he let out a chuckle.

I stood, turning the volume on the TV up and dancing with him, bumping my hip onto his in time with the song. "Mocha Chocalata ya ya."

"Creole lady Marmalade," Calum sang, attempting to hit the low note. I snorted from laughter, unable to sing the next line as I flopped back onto the sofa, barely being able to breathe through my laughing.

"Voulez vous coucher avec moi," Calum yelled, tipping his head back and shimmying towards me.

"Ce soir?" I continued, kicking my legs up and giggling.

"Voulez vous coucher avec moi?" We sang together, winking.

I stood up, grabbing a hairspray bottle from the table, "He sat in her boudoir while she freshened up. Boy drank all that Magnolia wine, on her black satin sheets is where he started to freak, yeah," I sang the next verse to him, strutting around the coffee table and busting out random dance moves.

"Giuchie, Giuchie, ya ya dada, Giuchie, Giuchie, ya ya here," Calum sang to me, joining in with my random dance moves.

"Mocha Choca lata, ya, ya, creole lady Marmalade," I sang in reply, winking once more.

"Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir?" He got closer to my body then he was last night when I thought he was going to kiss me.

"Voulez vous coucher avec moi?" I breathed out, feeling the room tense as our eyes locked.

We remained stood close together throughout all of Lil' Kim's rap, our eyes locked and our chests rising and falling in time. And that feeling was back in my body, the one of wanting him to kiss me.

Calum suddenly blinked rapidly, breaking our eye contact and all of the tension in the room, and singing the end of Lil' Kim's rap. "If you wanna Giuchie, Giuchie, ya ya, mocha Chocalate. Creole Lady Marmalade."

By time I'd come back into my senses, all the high notes were gone, and I thought all of my chances of redeeming myself were too, until I remembered Christina's particularly sexy verse, and I took charge, pulling my hair out of its pony tail and letting loose a little.

"Hey, hey, hey! Touch of her skin feeling silky smooth, colour of cafe au lait, alright. Made the savage beast inside roar until he cried, more, more, more," I stepped dangerously close to Calum again, enjoying feeling in charge for once.

"Now he's back home doin' 9 to 5, sleepin' the grey flannel life, but when he turns off to sleep memories creep, more, more, more," I smirked as he lent in, stepping away completely and walking into the bathroom.

"Cal, babe, I'm going for a shower," I told him, smirking even further when I heard him let out a slight groan, then turning on the shower and stripping off.

Calum's P.O.V

Tia came closer to me, singing incredibly low, and moving her hips as she did so. I couldn't think straight, and could only look longingly at her as she showed me what she was made of.

"More, more, more," she sang, and I couldn't help myself. I lent in towards her, parting my lips.

But she stepped away, a small smirk on her lips as she made her way around me, heading into the bathroom.

"Cal, babe, I'm going for a shower," her voice made its way towards my ears from the little room, and I let out a groan.

I wanted to kiss her, but she wasn't mine to kiss. Whether she was Michael's, or Luke's, or even Ashton's was beyond me. All I knew, is that I wanted her to be mine.

Just that one word last night caused so many emotions to rush through my system all at once, like a tsunami wave of feelings, all of them clashing together.

Just that one word. "Stay."

When she'd asked me to stay last night, my heart jumped a little at the possibility of staying in the same bed as her, just listening to the sound of her breathing.

I'd texted my Mum, asking her if it was okay for me to stay round Tia's for the night, and she'd texted back instantly telling me to go for it, and if possible, if she could stay round ours one night.

My mum's very big on the whole "meeting the friends" policy. She never really minded me sleeping with girls present, she trusted me to know to do the right thing.

And so I'd stayed the night. I'd slept in my shirt and boxers, and Tia was in a vest top and shorts. We spent the whole night confessing our secrets to one another, our backs to eachother but our fingers interlocked.

We were still awake when Ashton was heard in the hallway, followed by Monique's voice, it being fairly obvious that she, too, was a guest in the building that night.

I sighed, pushing my hair out of my face. Why was it always so hard to get the girl? It never seemed hard in the movies. The movies always showed the big, bad, hot, guy that everyone wanted, winning over the girl just by blinking, whilst the male best friend was suffering and hiding his feelings towards the female.

A whole bunch of shit would then go down, and like a complete fool, the best friend will always be there for the girl, even though the girl is totally enchanted by the wrong guy, and everyone but the girl could see that.

Eventually, the girl realises how much of a complete dick the guy is, and then opens her eyes and actually sees that all she's ever wanted was right there in front of her - the best friend.

And then they'd both live happily ever after, get married, and have beautiful children that would be named after their grandparents.

Yeah, if only. People in movies don't realise how easily they have it, in the real world, there is no script, stage directions, special lighting or background music. It's just you, out there, on your own.

And I'm personally terrified by it.
