Dedication for moeslypants because she's a dollface, and also, on the side, my own way of selfmotivation.

Luke's P.O.V

~*~

I walked down the street, heading towards town. It'd been a while since I'd seen Emma, and she'd asked me to meet up with her today.

As I walked down the street, I noticed people looking at me. Sure, a few people did here or there, because they were fans of the band, but this was completely different. I was used to the compliments, the shocked gazes, and the odd wink here and there, but this was something completely different, they were all laughing, smirking, and pointing.

I shook my head, shrugging it off and continuing to walk down to town. When I got there, I headed straight into Maccas and looking for Emily.

I saw her sat down, with some guy, and one of her friends. I walked over towards her, sliding into the seat across from her and nodding at her friends before turning to her and smiling.

She merely smirked back, scooting closer to the guy she was sat next to. One of my eyebrows raised slowly as my eyes found their interlocked fingers. That was new.

"Babe, wha-" I started, but was soon cut off by Emma raising her hand. Rude.

"Listen, Luke, its not working. At all. Sorry, but I have Rick now, and I think you should move on too. We've already eaten, so we'll be leaving now," she smirked at me, then standing, and walking off with that Rick jerk and her friend.

"Well, if its any consolation to you, I kissed a girl yesterday!" I yelled at her, and she only laughed. I shouldn't have said that. I really shouldn't have said that.

"That's fine! I kissed Rick yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that, and the day before that, and, well, I think you get it. Oh, and if I were you, I'd avoid going anywhere in public for the next few months. See you later, Luke."

I let out a growl of frustration as I watched her go, slamming a clenched fist down on the table before groaning in annoyance and letting my head drop and rest next to my fist. I rested like that like a while, just letting the waves of emotion roll over me as I slowly began to calm.

Just when I was about to rise, someone slid into my booth, sitting across from me and hesitantly tapping my shoulder. I lifted my blue eyes, and they locked with hers. I smiled shyly at her, and she beamed back.

"Oh, it is you," she nodded her head, and I raised an eyebrow, the smile falling from my lips. "Luke Hemmings, right?" I only opened my mouth, and she nodded again, cutting me off before I could even open my mouth to speak. "Tell me, how do you feel about these being spread all over town?"

She turned her phone towards me, and on the screen was a picture of me, printed and stuck onto a lamppost, like a flyer. Her thumb then slid across the screen, and there was another. She repeated the action at least six times, until my eyes were probably dangling out of my skull from how much they'd widened in shock.

"Wh-where are these?" I stuttered, a nervous trait I'd picked up from Tia. She'd rubbed off on me a lot more than I'd care to show.

"All over town, babe, there's one right across the street," she pointed to a fence, and sure enough, there was another picture of me, from when I was around six, in a bath, surrounded by my own poop. Out of context, that sounds pretty grim, but its a long story.
