A week had passed since then. It'd been pretty boring to be completely honest, just lugging around furniture, setting up some wifi, all the normal things that come with moving into a new house, in a new place.

Currently I was Skyping Heather, telling her about how I found Luke through some new friends, and she was exclaiming about how it was 'meant to be,' as per usual.

"I have to go soon," she pouted whilst checking her phone. "I have a date in twenty minutes."

I pouted too. I don't want her to go, I missed her so much. "Skype me after?" I asked, and she nodded vigorously.

"Before I go, can you sing to me?" She asked, smiling timidly. I frowned slightly.

"Why?"

"I miss hearing your voice, it was always so pretty," she sighed dreamily. "If you sing I'll come see you soon," she begged, and I nodded. She let out a high-pitched squeal that I frowned at again.

"So, what am I singing?" I asked, fiddling with my fingers.

"In The Mourning, please," she smiled adorably at me, and I let my mouth twitch into a small grin.

"You're lucky I thought to bring my guitar," I winked, jumping up grabbing it from the wall next to my bed, where it was resting.

I started strumming lightly, my fingers finding all the right chords. This was one of my favourite songs, Paramore made a good call by releasing this one.

"You escaped like a runaway train

Off the tracks and down again

And my heart's beating like a steam boat

Tugging all your burdens on my shoulders

In the mourning I'll rise

In the mourning I'll let you die

In the mourning all my worries.

Now there's nothing but time that's wasted

And words that have no backbone

And now it seems like the whole world's waiting

Can you hear the echoes fading?"

A doorbell was heard from the other side of the computer, and I ignored it, knowing it was Heather's date. I carried on playing when she disconnected, too lost in the song to consider stopping.

"In the mourning I'll rise

In the mourning I'll let you die

In the mourning all my 'sorry's.

And it takes all my strength not to dig you up

From the ground in which you lay

The biggest part of me

You were the greatest thing

And now you're just a memory

To let go of."

Footsteps echoed from outside my door, and I shook my head, ignoring them too. It was probably just one of the boys, they'd heard me sing before.

"In the mourning I'll rise

In the mourning I'll let you die

In the mourning all my sorry's

In the mourning I'll rise

In the mourning I'll let you die

In the mourning all my sorry's."

I stopped strumming, hearing applause from my doorway. I turned to find Calum stood there, the worlds biggest smile on his face.
