5 Seconds of Summer Imagines

Beach Day Part 1-Emma

I look out the window of the hotel in which Catherine and I were staying while we were visiting our very talented friends; 5 Seconds Of Summer. They were staying in LA on a break in between tour dates and the boys had persuaded us to come to LA while I was luckily in America over my university holidays on a long needed road trip with Catherine. We all found it really lucky that we were all in America at the same time because me living on the other side of the world to Catherine and the boys travelling between the two made it really hard to all catch up at once. This was a rare occurrence which has only ever happened once in the history of us all being friends, which has been a few years now. Normally it would be me meeting up with them in Melbourne when they were there or even me flying up to Sydney and Catherine meeting up with the when they were in America.

But today the boys had promised us that they would take us to the beach. And that is all I could see out of the window on this sunny morning, clear blue waves crashing upon the sand. I stand there in my black shorts with lace at the edge which sat 3/4 of the way down my thigh, mint green lace singlet, which from underneath my black one piece bathers with little pineapples can be seen. My hair was tied up in a pony tail with my sunglasses sitting on the top of my head. As I was day dreaming about our time on the beach there was suddenly a knock at the door of the room.

"I'll get it!" Catherine calls from her bed where she lies waiting, ready to go. She is dressed in denim shorts which sit mid thigh, a purple singlet which has the back in lace. through the back of her laced back singlet her the top of her pink and white high waist bikini can be seen. She has her hair left down with her sunglasses pushed on top of her head pushing back her hair. She runs for the door and swings it open to reveal Luke standing there in black board shorts, and a black singlet with his black ray bands sitting around his neck. Plastered across his face was an excited grin.

"Hey Luke!!" Catherine exclaimed excitedly as she wrapped him up in a hug, she was stood on her tippy toes and her arms were over his shoulders and around his neck. "Hey Cat! How are you?" Luke smiles as he tightly wrapped his arms around her waist and leaning down to her slightly to make it easier for her, seeing a she was a fair bit smaller than he was. I turned back around and watched out the window.

"I'm good! Especially now that we are all here in LA!" She laughed as they pulled out of the hug.

"I know it's so awesome that someone could finally make it over here." He laughed subtly making a joke at me. I just ignored him know that he was looking for to retaliate like I normally would but I didn't feel like it, I was too relaxed as I stared out at the view. Catherine laughed again knowing exactly what Luke was doing. Then there was a hushed silence and then there was a weight put onto my shoulders.

"Aren't you gonna say hi?" I could hear the frown in Luke's voice as he put more of his weight into my shoulder, which he was finding difficult because of me being only 2 or 3 inches smaller than he was. I just chuckle and continue to look out the window at the ocean.

"Nah." I laugh. His weight lifts from shoulders and he turns me around to face him.

"Why not? I haven't seen you since we were home last. And that was like 4 months ago. Even longer maybe!" He frowned, with his arms resting on my shoulders. I match the look on his face and laugh again.

"Of course I would you dork." I laugh wrapping my arms around his torso. "Hi." I smile hugging him tightly. His grip tightens around me as he replies.

"Finally! I get a hug too!" he lets out a chuckle at the last word causing me to laugh. "How have you been ?" We part as I open my mouth to reply.
