Today is the day of the reaping, I've past 5 reaping who says I can't go through 2 more?

It's my brother Johns first games and he's scared to death. I told him everything will be okay his name is only in there once. What are the odds of picking him?

I get my dress on for the reaping. I don't know why were supposed to get all fancy and proper when we're going on to a train which is leading to our death. If it was up to me I would just wear whatever I wanted. But of course the Capitol has to make all the decisions!
That's a good chance of me not getting reaped today, my name is only in there 6 times.
I don't need to borrow stuff from the Capitol, that's why I have my Axe to get food from the tree and bushes.

It's time to go to the reaping. I'm not scared at all, I've been through five of these so far another 2 wouldn't hurt. I'm only scared for John it's his first time, if he gets reaped I can't help him.

I walk to the station where they take my blood, it doesn't hurt as much as it used to the first time. You get used to the pain.

I say my goodbyes to my dad and mom as they wish me luck. I go to where the 17 year old girls are. I don't have many friends my attitude scares them away but I do have one. Her names Forest. The names pretty pointless but I guess since we live in District 7 it makes sense.

Celes Gerander goes up on the stage. I don't understand why the Capitol citizens where so much make up they look like clowns . They show the video that they show every year I got pretty tired of it.

" Welcome, welcome to the 71st Hunger games! Today we will be choosing one male and one female tribute to have the honor to represent their district in the annual hunger games. As always ladies first " says Celes in her high pitched Capitol accent

She walks over to the bowl of female tributes. She walks back to the podium and reads it out
