Most people aren't who you think they are
They make you believe with their words,
That they're someone
A person
Who you believe is a great person
They make you believe with their actions
That they're sweet, caring, loving,
Well, maybe they are
But are they really who you think they are?
You talk to them and you are made to believe
That they are perfect or near perfect
That you can trust them,
Heck, you're made to believe that you know them,
Who they really are,
Who they are inside and out.
Until you see, hear, read something
Something shocking, horrifying, surprising, petrefying
And then you say to yourself
"did I really know that person?"
"Is the person who I thought he/she was?"
"is my world falling apart?"
"Are words and actions uselss?"
"can someone you've known for so long be a complete stranger?"
