Chapter 15

(Your pov)
When You heard meiko's relief filled voice You couldn't help but to let a few tears fall down your face.

"I won't ever scare you like that again, I promise" You said to her in a soft voice, just above a whisper,
while wiping away your tears and smiling at her.

"You'd better not" Meiko replied while sniffling.

"(Y/n)!" You heard kaneki's voice calling out to you.

meiko looked over your shoulder and saw him running towards you and she smiled at you.

"You finally got a boyfriend huh?" She asked while giggling

You blushed and nodded "y-yeah" you stuttered.

You were still not used to the feeling of being called his girlfriend.

As Kaneki got closer to you, Meiko put a steel glare on her face.

"Meiko, what are you doing?"

She shushed you and said "if he's going to be dating my best friend, he needs to pass a test first"

"A test? Seriously?"you questioned

She gave you a look, you know that look that your mom gives you when you ask a stupid question?

Yeah, that look.
"Yes,seriously. Your naive and new to the whole idea of love. And for all you know he could be some kind of crazy kidnapper!"

Oh,she had no Idea how correct she was.

"Rude" you muttered to her before Kaneki was right next to you and wrapping an arm around your shoulder.

He looked at Meiko before seeing her glare and giving her a confused look.

Noticing the look on his face you laughed silently before deciding to break the short awkward silence that passed between the two of them.

"Um, Kaneki this is my best friend Meiko, Meiko this is Kaneki, he's my-"

"I'm her future husband" he said with a smirk
You looked at him with a 'what the hell face' and he only continued smirking.

"Well then 'mr. Future husband' no one dates my best friend before I know them so you are going to sit down and answer ten questions" Meiko sad while sitting down in her beach chair.

"Are you serious?" He asked while you mentally facepalmed.

"Yes, I am very serious" Meiko replied

"Well then you guys have your little test thingy, and I'm gonna go swim, see ya!" You said before running toward the water.

You heard a faint 'So your just going to leave me here!?" From Kaneki and you couldn't help but laugh.

You walked farther away from them and then sighed.

It was a sigh of relief.

You weren't eating your brain away by thinking about how much Meiko was worrying about you.

A piece of your life had been restored.

And as far as you were concerned, it was the most important piece of all.

And that was the only thing you could've asked for.

Hey guys!
As you can see there should be no tittle or chapter number on this part.

That is for two reasons.

One because I'm a horrible author and forgot what number of chapter there were and I was wayyyy to lazy to go back and look.

And two because this is really short so I'm not comfortable with calling it a chapter.

I'll update when I can, no promises on when because I have midterms ;-;
