Chapter 17

Niall POV

Vallory fell asleep on my chest and I didn't dare move. I smiled and kissed her forehead as Liam looked back at us. "She got hate." He said, pity lacing in his expression. "What do you mean?" I asked, confused. " I did a Twitcam earlier today. The fans. They said awful things about her. She tried to hide it, but I could see the pain and reject in her eyes. She told them off. She was disgusted, and so was I. I felt so bad. I went to tell her to ignore it and to not to listen, but she already left. I'm so sorry Niall." He said, guilt noticeable in his tone. "She doesn't deserve it. I don't know why everyone is so mean to her." I admitted, resting my chin on top of her head. He nodded and we pulled into the driveway. I picked Vallory up and lead her through the doorway and sat her on the couch. I laid her head on my lap as I stroked her hair. Carefully, I turned on the television and scanned through the channels. Louis came in with two mugs of tea and handed me one as he sat down. He stared at us and smiled. "You really love her, huh?" He asked, staring at her. "She's my everything." I admitted, rubbing her back. "I still don't know how I got so lucky." He smiled. "She does look good in a bra." He chuckled. "I'm still upset with you two for that. You guys saw her half naked before I did." I frowned. "Sorry, mate." He winked. I just shook my head and looked at Vallory. She's too beautiful for what she puts herself through. Sighing, I sipped on my tea. It burnt my tongue, but I didn't care. We sat in a comfortable silence for a while until Liam broke it. "We're ordering pizza for dinner. Sound good?" He asked me. Louis being the immature boy, had to scream. "PIZZA! YAY!" I slapped my hand to my forehead as Vallory shot awake. "What the Hell was that?" She asked, looking around. "Louis screaming. Go back to bed, love." I soothed, laying her head back on my lap. Louis muttered a sorry as he walked into the kitchen. "Niall?" Vallory asked. "Yes, babe?" I said, stroking her hair. "I can't sleep." She said sitting up, resting her head on my chest. "Okay. You don't have to sleep." I soothed. She nodded and took the remote from me. I watched as she surfed through the channels. "I love this movie!" She said, coming across 21 Jump Street. "Channing Tatum is so hot." She muttered. I faked a frown. "Hotter than me?" I pouted. "Oh yeah. By a long shot." She joked. I faked hurt and slapped my hand to my heart. "I'm joking babe. You're hotter." She said, kissing my cheek. I kept the pout. "You missed!" I pointed to my pouted lips. She rolled her eyes and leaned in to kiss me. I kissed her back and smiled. I don't think I could ever stop loving this girl. She means too much to me. When we broke the kiss, I leaned forward and grabbed my tea. "Is that tea?" Vallory asked, pointing to it. "Yep. Lou made it." She leaned closer to me. "Can I have some?" She pleaded. "Sure." I said, handing her the cup. "Boys, we need to get to bed early tonight." Liam said, coming out of the kitchen. "Ugh. Why?" Zayn whined. "We have a concert tomorrow." He said. I nodded. "Vallory can come too, right?" I asked, putting my empty arm around her. "I'll call and ask Paul, but I'm pretty sure she can." Liam smiled. I nodded and thanked him. A knock came at the door. I stayed seated as Louis ran to the door. "PIZZA!" He yelled holding up the boxes. I shook my head. Vallory shot up and ran to the kitchen, leaving me sat on the couch. I got up and following her into the now crowded kitchen. Everyone was stood in front of the food as they dug in. I grabbed my plate and piled it with food. Walking into the dining room, I took a seat between Liam and Vallory. When dinner was done, I washed off my plate and made my way up the steps. Vallory was already in her room, making her bed. I knocked on her door, then entered. I helped her finish making her bed. "Can you sleep with me again, or will we get yelled at?" She asked, crawling into bed. "I really don't think it's the best idea. I'd rather not be on his bad side" she nodded understandingly. "Well, goodnight." She said tucking herself in. "Goodnight." I said shutting her door.
