Chapter 27
Niall POV
I stared at the bottles before me. One bottle, gone. Two bottles, downed. I was working on the third bottle when Liam cut me off, throwing a water bottle in my direction, which I caught mid-air. "We have a concert tonight, Niall. Don't do anything stupid. I'm sure she knows you didn't mean what you said." Liam reassured me. Liam was laying on the couch when I was video-calling Vallory earlier and heard everything. I mumbled a whatever, and downed my beer. She didn't deserve my snap. I should've let her explain. But, no. I had to be an ass and tell her I hate her. "Great going, Niall." I muttered to myself. I called her. Well, tried. It went straight to voice mail. Everyone was silently sitting in the living room, waiting on me. I was too bused to do anything. Cracking open the water, I downed half of it and sighed. I didn't want to do this show tonight. I wanted to work this out with Vallory. Seeing her smile, is all that counts. I knew what she was doing after I ended the call, and it made me feel worse. I hate myself. I got up and made my way upstairs. Might as well cooperate with the lads. I was going to do the show. There's no way I would disappoint the fans because of my stupid choice. I got ready, and made my way downstairs to the eager boys. We still had a couple hours, so I plugged my headphones in and took a nap. Hoping to drown her face away.
Vallory POV
"I have a plan" Dakota said, taking in my face. My arm was still throbbing in pain, but I shook it off, sitting down next to her as she spilled the plan. "Okay, don't judge, but you really need to see Niall." She began. I egged her on and continued. "I was thinking, we fly to the state they are in, stay a couple nights, then go to their concert. It's a big step, but I think it's worth it." She said, taking my expression in. My mouth was hung open. "Are you crazy? That will never work! He obviously hates me and doesn't want to be with me, so why push?" I said, with tears forming in my eyes. "Wait, that just might work." Billy cut in. "You guys should disguise yourself, then go to their sound check, and meet and greet. It will all work out!" He yelled. I shook my head. "Well, its too late now. We just booked the hotel and the plane ticket. We leave in a hour. Pack up! Were going to New York!" She yelled. I sighed and began packing. This was going to be a long week.
After a 4 hour flight from Florida to New York, we finally arrived. Because I didn't sleep on the plane ride, I was tired. We hailed a cab and made our way to the hotel. "May I held you?" The concaire asked as we walked through the doors. "Yes, reservations for Moore and Woodruff?" Dakota said. I stayed quiet as the lady handed her the room keys."Here you go! You got very lucky! Room 315, right next to One Direction!" She gushed. My eyes widened. "Thank you!" Dakota said, dragging me to the elevator. "What? Are you NUTS?" I spat. I couldn't believe she did that. We were going to get seen by one of the boys. "Calm down. They never come out of their rooms anyways. They won't see us." She said, as we walked out of the elevator and to the room. She opened the door and I threw my bags on the floor as I walked in. She shut the door and we sat on the beds. "See, this isn't so bad!" Dakota said, getting up. "Shit! We need ice for the sodas. Can you go get some? I gotta pee." She said, throwing the ice box at me. I sighed and left to get ice. As I left the room, the door next to us opened. I kept walking until I heard my name being called. "Vallory?" Liam called out. I turned around to see Liam with an ice box in his hand as well. "Shit." I mumbled. I opened my door and shoved Liam into our room. "That was fast!" Dakota called out, coming out of the bathroom. I buried my head into my hands as Liam looked at us and the room. "What the hell are you guys doing here?" He asked, with a slight chuckle. Dakota explained our plan and Liam just stood there. "Please, don't tell the others!" I begged. Liam just smiled and looked at me. "I won't I promise. What seats are you guys?" He sat down as we showed him our tickets. "Okay, well, show starts in an hour. I'll text you when we leave, okay?" He proposed. We nodded and he left the room. I straightened my hair as Dakota did her make-up then we switched. "Here, put this on." She handed me a "I <3 Niall" shirt and a One Direction jacket.I put them on and slipped my shorts up as we waited for a text fom Liam.
LiLi: Just left. See ya soon! xx
I thanked him and grabbed my purse, as we made our way to the hotel entrance. Tonight, was going to be awkward.
