Have you ever felt like you knew you were about to die? When you know you can't do anything but except it. Thats how I felt. I closed my eyes and waited...

Then all of a sudden I couldnt feel anything, nothing at all except for the slight feeling someone was hugging me. Then I herd a crash from behind me, about 30 feet away. I opened my eyes. I was in the park, I turned around and behind me was the car that was about to hit me, had crashed into another car. And I was in the park... back in the park, I just ran from.

"I'm sorry I hurt you. Breakfast? "

I whipped around and saw Peter, standing there, with a big smile on his face.

We arrived at a small restaurant called "Lily's" and went in to grab something to eat.

"Crap, Peter I don't have any money I'm sorry" I said annoyed at myself

"I wasn't planning on making you pay, its my treat." He smiled

A nice waitress sat us down at a small booth near a window and handed us menus. We sat there in silence for about 5 minutes straight before I blurted out
"So...... the fuck?"

"What?" He said confused, raising an eyebrow.

"I said, the fuck? How did you do that whole save me from the car thing? I dont know how but I know it was you."

He smiled at me, then looked out the window. His deep green eyes almost seemed to sparkel in the sunlight.

"I pushed you out of the way" he said.

"No I'm pretty sure you hugged me. But I dont know how you moved so far, so fast without me feeling anything. I couldn't feel anything besides your arms around me." I said. I was looking him dead in the eye. I wasn't about to break eye contact.

He leaned in a little over the table and quietly said

"You're smart Mary" he chuckled a bit... then said the words

"I flew you"
