"We have to be fast!! But be carful!" I yelled to Dan and Mary. I was surprised how fast she was running, almost faster then Dan and I.

I let go of her hand and ran far ahead of them. I reached into my pocket to feel the warm soft feeling of pixy dust and I raised my hand to throw it at them. I herd Mary's laugh as they ran through the dust, but my eyes were on Dan the whole time.
"Don't let go of her hand." I thought.

He smiled at me and I watched him take off, his hand taking up Mary with him. They were moving fairly fast, but I trusted Dan with her. She wasn't flying as high but Dan had a good grip. I stopped running. I didn't want to miss any bit of it, watching her fly. She was new and still needed a bit of Danny's help but she was getting the hang of it so fast, and she did it beautifully. They looked like they were just playing around in the air. Danny could have let go if he wanted, she was doing great. But she was going to need him once they started moving fast. I wondered what happy thoughts they had flowing through their heads, but I just assumed they were thinking about each other.

"I'LL CATCH UP WITH YOU GUYS!" I yelled. I wasn't going to miss a moment, but I lost sight of them. "Too bad." I thought. A smile grew bigger and bigger on my face. I reached into my pocket, and felt the dust. It seemed to almost glow in the night. I lifted my hand and felt it pour down on me. It was warm and it always had the slight sensation I was being lightly sprayed with water, but the second I felt it the feeling had past.

Then I felt it, I didn't have to run to get a good lift off, I just stood there. I could feel the ground leave my feet, I closed my eyes and slowly lifted into the air. There was no better feeling than flying. You felt free, you felt at peace but you also felt absolutely, nothing. But it felt great! I opened my eyes, and slowly let myself rise up into the night sky. Then, as soon as my eyes feel on Danny and Mary, I shot off after them.

I didn't need to think happy thoughts, all I needed to do was live in this happy moment.
