"You're so beautiful today, (Last Name)"
You smiled before nodding at the libero. He nodded as well, heading back to his class. It became a usual routine, him complimenting you every morning or every time you guys encountered. Of course, students got curious and wondered if you two or dating or something—but you only shrugged, not knowing the answer as well.
To be honest; you were enjoying it and well of course, your admiration towards him was also increasing. The more he complimented you and with his cheerful smile, the more it changed into something romantic than you thought but you're the only one who knows about that.
Lunch break, you were invited to eat outside with your friends. Happy, since you would passed by Nishinoya's room, for his room was near the staircase.
"(First Name)"
You felt your cheeks getting warm as you glanced the male. H-He just called my first name, you thought, trying to calm your heart.
"After class, will you wait me in your classroom?"
This time, he didn't make his voice too audible for the others to hear it although few maybe from your friends heard it. "M-Mm" you nodded then he smiled, patting your head before walking passed you.
Then the teasing part came, when one friend of yours spread to others what she heard and questions were bombarded on you.

After class, as what you have promised to Nishinoya. You told your friends that they can go without you as they only nodded before leaving you with a smirk on their faces. You sighed, I bet tomorrow, they're gonna tease me.
A minute passed, suddenly you heard a creak from the door; revealing Nishinoya standing and also panting—from running, I guess? you thought.
"S-Sorry for taking so long. I had to excuse myself from the practice"
Your eyes widened. It was strange for him to excuse from the practice, usually he would be the one to come up to his teammates whenever there's a practice. Then a thought made your cheeks flared up.
D-Does he—no no, don't jump on conclusions, you thought.
"So um—
"Um—
Both you of chuckled. "You first" he persisted. No choice,
"So, I wanted to ask about the sudden compliments?" As you sheepishly smile.
Not sure but you swear that you just saw him blush before he looked away from you. Then glanced back at you with a smile.
"Ah, that's because of my admiration of you, (First Name)" as he continued.
"But now, I just realized that they weren't admirations but they were romantic feelings. I just realized it when I get the feeling of wanting—no like needing you, your smiles, your laughter—j-just you" he stuttered at the last part when he realized, he was getting deeper than he thought. While you, face flushed and a feeling of dizziness due to the over flowing hearts that came from Cupid.
"S-Sorry, I got carried away" he scratched his nape, feeling a little embarrassed.
"U-Um, I also wanted to say that I feel the same way" you looked down, pulling the hem of your shirt. Attempting not to look at him with your red face. Then you felt hands on your shoulders so you glanced up.
"So will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.
"Mm" as you were pulled into an embrace, as you hesitantly wrapped your arms around him.
Afterwards.
"Wanna grab some ice cream?"
You giggled, intertwining your hands with his as he pulled you closer. "Sure"
