The loud sound from your earphones turned Kageyama's expression into slight worried. How can a girl like you manage to listen such a loud volume, that even him can hear it although you're plugging it in your ears.
"Damn hot, yeah"
You swayed your head to side, as if dancing while answering your homework. Kageyama unknowingly smiled of how cute you are then slowly his cheeks turned pink, just when something on his mind came up.
Though, he knows it would be ridiculous and the consequence of what you'll think. He scooted an inch near you since both of you are sitting on the floor.
"(First Name)"
He blushed but you didn't notice it. You were so engrossed with your assignment and your damn loud music. He sighed in relief and still continued.
"I like you"
"Baby, yeah yeah. I like you"
Then you tapped your pencil on the floor as if it was a drums and slightly moving your head with the beat of the drums (of your music).
"Scratch that, I love you ever since we were kids"
"Or maybe, I love you"
He was already a blushing mess when he realized the lyrics and what he said was literally the same. (A/N: Cause author-chan made it on purpose)
You glanced at him as your eyebrows furrowed. "Are you okay?" you asked, removing your other earphone and looked at him with concern of how red he is
"Y-Yeah" he mumbled, looking back at his blank notebook and started to copy your answers to avert his eyes from you. You looked at him for awhile before shrugging and went back to your music.
"Baby baby, be my boyfriend. Be my first kiss"
"I-I've been wanting to be with you, not by being friend but more than that. T-To be the one who'll love and cherish you-u. I-I just wish you feel the same"
He mumbled. It was strange for him, to be so careful with his words (although you couldn't hear it) putting also deep emotions on it.
Your eyebrows furrowed again and pressed the button 'pause' just when you asked him again. He suddenly continued.
"This is ridiculous, Saying my feelings when you couldn't hear it"
As he chuckled while scribbling. "Y-You were confessing all along?"
Kageyama widened and instantly stood up in surprise, with his hand on his mouth while blushing hard. "Y-Y-You heard it!" As you nodded.
"Well, not really all but .. you said your feelings"
He gulped as he look down in embarrassment. He didn't know what to do next, all he thought that you didn't heard but unfortunately, you did. "I-I—"
God, he was so cute. Blushing hard, couldn't look at you and stuttering? You didn't expect to see the cute side of him.
A smile soon crept on your face.
"Will you say it again? So I could properly accept it?"
His heart jumped in glee. "D-Does that mean?" You shook your head, tugging off the earphones and placed it on the side. "Not until you repeat what you said"
You smirked in victory when he sat in front of you but still looking away.
He coughed before doing what he was told to.
"S-So, I-I fell in love with you since we were kids a-and I'v-ve been wanting to be with you not by being friends. B-but m-m—more than that"
You giggled as you pinched his cheeks, couldn't handle the cuteness he is doing. He only looked away, embarrassed. "Me too, so be my boyfriend?"
"T-That is my line"
"To be your boyfriend?"
"G-G—irlfriend, idiot"
You laughed and moved to peck his nose. "I was just teasing, you tsundere"
He groaned. "I'm not"
"Well, you are right now" as he only groaned and hesitantly wrapped his arms around your waist. "I-I love you"
"I love you too"
