Nishinoya's aunt have been noticing Nishinoya constantly insisting to be the one to brought lunch and stuff to his cousin (patient)
But what she didn't know that he was already visiting someone else in there whenever he gets the chance to. And it was you.
"(Last Name)-san, you're so smiling today and why is that?" The nurse teasingly asked as she was preparing your injection for medication.
"Haha, it's kinda secret"
You giggled before wincing in pain as the nurse injected your arm and pulled away to put a band-aid. She smiled and ruffled your hair. "That should do it"
"Well, have to go. After another 3 hours, Drink the med" as you nodded.
"Say hi to your visitor for me" she winked before closing the door behind her.
"Ah, (Last Name)-san. Don't walk too far from your room" your nurse scolded as she walked beside you, trying to make sure you are safe from any possibility of accidents. You only giggled, putting a hand on her shoulder to reassure her that you can do it.
"I'm okay, now you can go back cause someone might need you" you winked.
After finally gotten your freedom to walk around. You tightly gripped on your (that thing where the dextrose is connected and has wheels, so you can move around with the dextrose and I don't know what it is called so if someone knew the name of it. Please tell me) as you pulled it with you to the nearest balcony.
The wind blew your (color) hair, causing it to dance with the breeze as you placed your hand on the bars, to hold a grip on it. Watching the sun set on the sky, where it always shines the brightest. Your lips broke into a smile. It was quiet yet pleasing to your ears. The spot was perfect. No doctors bustling or nurses, no children whining to get home early nor anything that could broke your peaceful morning.
After minutes of enjoying the silence, you felt someone's presence behind you so turned your head to meet brown orbs, looking at you. Then the male blushed when he realized that you were already looking at him. "I-I didn't mean to stare" he blurted out, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck.
"It's fine" you only smiled before glancing back at the view before you.
Then you heard him coughed. "Is it fine if .. I join you, looking at the view?"
"I don't mind" he smiled, putting his hands on the bars as well as you are. You glanced at him. Brown hair with blonde streak, brown eyes. Your cheeks flared up just when his eyes met yours again. "I didn't mean to stare too" you instantly apologized, causing him to laugh. "We both didn't mean to, so it's a tie" he said it in between his laughs. You only smiled at him, slightly laughing as well.
"Ah, I'm Nishinoya Yuu" as he extended out a hand. "(First Name)" and you shake hands with him, as your smile grew wider.
Nishinoya smiled, upon recalling that day. He seriously like the way your eyes look at him or to someone else. Your warm smile could make his day better.
He placed the bento that his aunt asked him to bring it. "Thank you, nii-san" your cousin thanked, leaning against the bedhead with faint smile plastered on her face. "(Last Name)-chan, visited me again" she divulged, opening the lovely covered bento. "Really?" he lips broke into a smile. Oh and one thing, he likes the way his lips easily broke into a smile whenever he heard about you or being mentioned.
His cousin giggled. "Yeah, you sure like her, huh?" as she pointed at him with her cute chopsticks. Nishinoya only chuckled, not know what to say to his dear cousin but ended up to get teased that made his cheeks flared up.
Afterwards, he excused himself to visit you. He pulled out a book with a ribbon on the side and a signature on its title. He smiled as he caressed it.
I hope she likes it, he thought as he fastened his pace.
A knock distracted your reading, as you closed the book before letting the knocker to come in. Nishinoya's head popped first from the door with his cheerful smile.
"Ah, Yuu" you smiled.
He went in with his hands behind him, obviously hiding something from you. You chuckled at his failed attempt in hiding. It was very obvious yet you didn't want to ruined his surprise so you acted as if you didn't notice. You leaned against the pillow as a smile formed on your lips. "How are you, Yuu?"

He sat on the chair beside you, like usually do. "Fine as usual. How about you?" he asked and slipped his bag down (hiding the book behind it)
"I'm getting well. The doctors said that I can go out soon"
A part of Nishinoya was happy to know that you were getting well but a half of him saddens, to know that you were going back to your home (which is kinda far from his place) and might never see you again. So instead smiling at you, he pouted.
Your eyebrows furrowed in concern. "Are you okay, Yuu?" you asked, worried that you might have said something that made the male sad.
"I-I was just thinking that I might never see you" feeling his cheeks heated up as you only chuckled at the cute male. "I was just about to say about that"
He frowned, didn't know what you meant by that but you continued.
"I was about to say that you don't have to worry cause I'll visit you and (his cousin's name) since I have a relative near your place, so it won't be a problem"
It took him a minute to comprehend before he smiled widely. "R-Really?" he asked, inwardly jumping inside with joy as you nodded.
"I'm so happy! (First Name)" to your surprise, he wrap his arms around you as he pulled you close. Your cheeks flared up before wrapping your arms as well around him. "Mm, me too" then he blushed, feeling your head nuzzled on his shoulder.
"A-Ah, I forgot to gave you this!"
Your eyes widened in disbelief. It was the book that you've been wanting for. You hesitantly take it as you looked at him. "I was thinking that maybe you want a new book since I keep on seeing you reading the same one" he explained.
"Thank you so much, Yuu" this time, you surprised him by pulling him into a hug.
Afterwards.
Both of you watched the sunset, above the rooftop since they were no people up there. You gripped on your (that thing again, please tell meh what is it) as you smiled.
Soon, you felt a hand above yours (that was on the ground) as you turned your head to Nishinoya, who's a blushing mess.
"U-Um, (First Name). I was thinking i-if I can ask you out on a date after you discharged?"
Your heart skipped a beat. A blushing Nishinoya asking you on a date while stuttering was too cute, that you're heart couldn't take it.
"S-Sure" you blushed. He smiled lifted up your hands to intertwine his with yours.
