*SATURDAY*
I was walking downstairs and my phone went off. It was Mark texting me.
Mark - Hi, you free to meet up somewhere?
Beth - Yeah I think so, I'll ask one sec.
I get to the bottom of the stairs and ask Mum if I'm free that day. She said I was so I was free to meet up with friends and stuff.
Mark - soo..
Beth - I sure am😊
Mark - Starbucks?
Beth - wow you know me too well haha.
Mark - haha I'll meet you in 15?
Beth - sure, see you there
And I turn off my phone.
I go upstairs again and put on some leggings and my favourite hoodie. I put on my vans and tie my hair up in an, 'I honestly can't be bothered' bun and put some money and my phone in my pocket.
I make my way to the front door. "I don't know when I'll be back, I'll text you though," I smile at my Mum.
"Ok Hun, and I don't mind if some of your friends come over later," Mum replies.
"Oh ok, love you, bye,"
"Bye, love you," and I walk down to the Starbucks on the corner. I'm literally less than 3 minutes away, so there was no point asking for someone to drop me off.
I was a few minutes early so I went in and ordered something for me and Mark. Finally Mark's Mum's car pulls up and he hops out. "Bye, see you later," I hear him say and the car drives off again.
"Beth!" He shouts over, and runs over to me. I stand up and give him a big hug.
"Hi," I smile back, "I got you your favourite," I laugh and hand him a drink.
"Wow you know me too well," he chuckles back and takes the drink from me, "Thanks," he smiles.
We had so much fun sitting there talking. Being with Mark just makes me so happy and I can never stop smiling when I'm with him. We ended up being in there for over 2 hours and then realised the time.
"Oh my god, we've been here for nearly a century," Mark laughs as he checks the time on his phone.
"My Mum said it was ok to invite someone over," I said.
"Really? My Mum's on a weird work night out thing with my Dad, so, do you think it would be okay for me to sleepover?" he said and looked over to me.
"I'm sure that would be fine," I text my Mum, again.
A few minutes later I get a text back saying "okay, that's fine with me but check with his parents first," from my Mum.
I tell Mark that it's okay and he made sure with his parents.
We end up walking home hand in hand. We both didn't realise we were doing it until I Mark awkwardly tripped up from his own foot and we both burst out laughing.
"Oh," Mark said looking down at my hand, holding his tightly. He smiles and looks at me, he stops and lightly kissed me on the cheek.
"Wow what was that for?" I laugh, rather surprised.
"I'm not really sure, I just,"
"Yes?" I ask,
"I just think your one of the most amazing girls I've ever met.." He said back and stopped to turn to me. He held both of my hands.
"And I really like you," He smiles awkwardly, looking down at his feet now.
I hug him, I don't let go. He hugs back and we stand there. None of us let go in until what it felt like forever.
"I really like you too," I smiled, and kissed him back on the cheek.
We both take each other's hand and carry on walking down to my house. I lean my head on Mark's shoulder, and I can feel that he was smiling.
