Pancakes - [Part 7]

*FINALLY AT BETH'S HOUSE*
"Come on in," I laugh and pull him inside by the hand gently. He laughs and walks into the front room.
"Wow your house is so big, and tidy, and wow-" Mark stops as my Mum walks up to me.
"Hey Hun, this must be Mark, right?" She asks.
"Yes, Mum, well done," I laugh sarcastically.
"You're all she talks about really," Mum whispers down to Mark.
Mark laughs but I flick her with my finger.
"Oi!" Mum jumps back, and we all laugh. "Anyway, if you need anything just shout," she carries on and we make our way to my room.
"Thanks Mum," I call back down the stairs.
"So what do you wanna do?" I ask, sitting down on my bed.
Mark sits next to me. "Up for a Netflix marathon?" Mark laughs.
"The real question is are you READY for a Netflix marathon?" I laugh and jump up out of my seat.
"Well, I sure am," he chuckles back to me.
We set up loads of blankets and pillows infront of the TV. After a few episodes of our favourite show, we've ended up snuggled up with each other, and blankets and pillows are surrounding us. Mark's arms are wrapped tightly round me and I'm leaning my head on his chest.
"You look unbelievably adorable right now," Mark said to me and hugs me tighter. I smile and wrap my arms round him. We both end up falling asleep lying on the sofa.
*NEXT MORNING* *BOTH ASLEEP*
Mum walked down the stairs to get breakfast, then she saw me and Mark asleep on the sofa, arms wrapped round each other.
"Aww," she whispered and came over to wake us both up. She lightly tapped me on the shoulder and blew in my ear. I don't know why, but that always wakes me up.
I yawn and stretch my arms up.
"Wow be careful," Mum laughs at me. I look back at her confused. She nodded towards Mark, "Ooh," I whisper back, realising Mark was still asleep next to me.
"I'll leave you to wake him up," Mum winks at me, and goes over to the kitchen.
"Markkk," I say slightly louder and nudge him on the shoulder. I couldn't really move at this point because Mark had still got his arms round me. He yawns and looks up at me.
"Morning," he smiled.
"I still can't get over how amazing your smile is," I say back and give him a morning hug.
"Want something to eat?" I ask getting up from the sofa.
"Yes please, I'm starvinngg," and gets up with me.
We both attempt to make pancakes with the help of my Mum and my little brother, and they didn't actually turn out that bad.
The four of us all went to sit round the dining table.
(Dad woke up ages ago to go to work early, by the way)
"Soo.. what did I come down to," Mum smirks at us both," we both smile up and pull the exact same awkward 'I'm not really sure what to say back' face.
"We just fell asleep watching a film, that's all, we promise," I laugh, and look back up to Mark.
"Mrs. Johnson, I swear on my cats life that was all," Mark smiles up to my Mum.
"Ok, ok, but I've got to admit you looked so cute this morning, I didn't want to wake you up," Mum smiled and laughed, and carried on with her pancakes.
"Wait so you're boyfriend and girlfriend?" Sam my younger brother said in his little 8 year old voice.
"Um.. not exactly," I laugh, but take Mark's hand under the table.
"I saw that," Mum called out.
We both looked at her surprised, "I was once 15 remember," Mum said and tapped my nose as she got up to put her plate back.
I looked back at Mark and laughed,
(Sam had also gone at this point) he turned round and kissed me on the cheek.
"Soo.. I guess we've both admitted me kinda like each other," Mark said and turned round to me.
"I guess," I replied and turned back to look at him too.
"So I'm going to ask you something," he said and got up out of his chair and kneeled on the floor infront of me.
"Will you, Beth Johnson, go on a date with me," he beamed and looked up to me.
"You know what, I will," I laughed and he gets up to hug me.
"That was a lot harder to ask than it looked," Mark said back to me as we both let go from the hug.
"I could tell," I laughed back and we both take our plates into the kitchen.
