Hayley's P.O.V (Just like the good old days)
*******
I was nervous. This is the first time I bring one of my girlfriends to my grandma's house. I'm hoping that she likes Lottie, if she does, I could finally come out to her and introduce Lottie as my girlfriend. I just hope she'll accept me like the rest of my family. We entered the house, my aunt Molly and grandma were in the kitchen. "Hi grandma."
"Hello my sweet moon bug." My grandma and I hugged and I gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Hi mom." Mom hugged grandma.
As they broke away from the hug, grandma give a serious look to dad. "Hello George."
"Hello Sarah."
"It's Mrs.Nickerson too you." she looked at dad dead in the eye. I'm still dreaming of the day where both of them got along. I still didn't know why she didn't like dad.
Dad rolled his eyes. "Yes, of course. I apologize." he said in a sarcastic tone.
"Hey guys!" aunt Molly whipped off the sweat of her forehead and took off her apron. She hugged me and I hugged her back. "My God you're tall!" She broke away from the hug and looked at me amazed. "I think you're getting taller than me."
"It's just the heels."
She looked down at my heels. "Yeah, but still! You're pretty tall!" She smiled. Aunt Molly hugged mom and dad and gave each of them a kiss on the cheek. I wonder why is she still single? She's so sweet and affectionate. Plus she's a great cook.
I walk towards Lottie. "Aunt Molly, grandma, this is my friend Charlotte."
Lottie waved shyly. "Hi."
"Oh Charlotte, I heard so much about you." Aunt Molly winked at me, meaning she already knew Lottie is my girl. "You're more beautiful than I imagined."
Lottie blushed a little. She's so cute even she blushes. "Thank you."
"Nice to meet you Charlotte." grandma smiled.
"Nice to meet you too Mrs. Nickerson."
"Oh please, call me Sarah."
"Seriously?" Dad said in disbelief.
"George please, calm down."
"Whatever." dad rolled his eyes. "I need a drink."
"Drinking so early George?" said grandma in a cocky tone. "It's only three in the afternoon."
Dad pops a bottle of white wine and pours it in a glass. "Well, you know what they say ma'am, it's five o'clock somewhere." He drinks the wine.
Lottie leans closer to me. "When you said that your grandma and your dad didn't get along, you weren't lying."
"Why would I lie about that?"
"I just thought you exaggerated."
"I never exaggerate when it comes to my family."

The house was filled with relatives. Everybody was having a good time, even Lottie. She was talking to cousin Dillan. I was glad that Lottie gets along with my family and that my family likes her. Although the party is fun, I desperately wanted to go home to take of this dress, heels, put on my piercings and make love to Lottie. "Moon bug?" my grandma called.
"I'll be right back." I told Lottie, which I don't think she heard to me since she was paying attention to cousin Dylan's story. I walked towards my grandma. "Yes grandma?"
