We arrived to a beach house in Malibu beach. It was a huge, wodden, white house. I could see Hayley's friends playing vollyball from the distance. We walked towards them with our stuff. Towels, sunblock, sunglasses, some extra clothes and a little cooler. "Hey guys!'' Hayley waved to her friends.

''Hey! You're just in time for volleyball." said Christy.

"Let me put down this first."

"Let me help you with that." said Jaime in a shy tone. He grabbed the small cooler from Hayley's arms. Hayley smiled and Jaime put the cooler where the big, colorful beach umbrella was.

"Where's Alexis?" I asked since I didn't see her anywhere.

"She's in the house with Jenna." I nodded and put my bag on the sand next to the small cooler.

"Hey Charlotte, wanna play with us?" Patrick asked.

I shook my head ."Ummm... No thanks. I'm not good at volleyball." I took off my t-shirt and my shorts, reviling my white bikini. I put my clothes into the bag and pulled out my yellow floral beach towel and laid it on the hot sand. I put on some sunblock my face and body. I saw Jaime sitting on a chair under the beach umbrella. "Hey Jaime." He looked at me. "Could you please rub some sunblock on my back?"

"Ummm... Sure." I handed him the sunblock and he started rubbing my back with sunblock. I noticed Jenna and Alexis leaving the beach house with a guy. They came towards the beach umbrella with another cooler.

"Beer is here!" Alexis said. The strange guy put down the cooler next to Hayley and mine's. "Oh hi Lottie." Alexis smiled.

"Hey." Jaime handed me the sunblock. "Thanks." I gave him a small smile.

"Where's Hayley?"

"She's over there." I pointed at Hayley. "Playing volleyball."

"Aren't you going to play?"

"Oh no. I'm not good at it."

"Oh, ok then." Alexis went off with the group to play volleyball. I grab my heart shape sun glasses, put them on and laid on the beach towel on my stomach.

"So, are you enjoying California so far?" Jaime spoke.

"Yeah, it's really nice."

"Have you been on the Hollywood sign yet?"

"No, not yet."

"You should go. The view is amazing. You can see the whole city from up there."

"I will go. One of these days." I smiled at him.

"Jaime, can you hand me a beer?" Jenna asked.

"Aren't you too young to be drinking alcohol?"

"Aren't you too old to be emo?" Jenna bit.

"First, I'm not emo. Second, you're fifth teen, you're not allowed to drink alcohol."

"Fuck you. I do what I want." Jenna gets up from the beach chair and grabs a beer from the cooler. She sits back down with the mystery guy. How can someone so spoiled and bratty be related to a guy like Patrick?

"Bitch." Jaime cursed under his breath.

I saw Hayley, Christy and Alexis laughing at the boys. They high-fived each other and laughed. Suddenly I saw Alexis smack Hayley's ass and Hayley smacked her ass back. Did they just smacked each other's ass? I felt jealous but I shook off the feeling thinking at was just a friendly smack or just part of the game. Bruce runs towards us, opens up the cooler and grabs a bottle of water. "Man! It's hot in here!" He says after drinking some water. "Enjoying the sun Lottie?"
