Dom

We got ourselves suited up to go outside the wall to get The Doctor's ship back. The putrid smell of burning bodies was still in the air and I tried my best not to vomit.

After a few turns and climbing over rubble, we found a blue police box. The Doctor and Donna walked straight up to it and The Doctor took a key out to open it.

"Coming in?" He asked us with the door partially open
"Seems a little crammed. I think we'll walk back," Chris answered
"And risk your lives? We wouldn't have it!" Donna exclaimed, "We're not exactly short of space.."
"Okay I guess. Come on guys," Macy gestured to us and we went inside, and holy shit.

I don't know what or how but, IT'S BIGGER ON THE INSIDE! We sort of stood there by the door just staring. We didn't know what to do or say. The Doctor tossed his coat on a pillar that looks like coral and Donna closed the doors. Wait a minute, I've been here! How did I forget this place? After the shock went away we stepped more inside and looked around.

"This has got to be fake. How is it? It's bigger! The outside is just wood! How?" Tom ran his hand through his hair and sat on the floor.
"Timelord science. That's what I am, Timelord and lay of them. Now, you all might want to grab onto something."

The place shook and we fell to our bums. Macy scrambled to grab onto railing, Chris held on to the console, Tom and I stayed on the floor.

"Welcome aboard to the TARDIS!" Donna yelled and laughed. The shaking stopped and The Doctor looked at the screen.

"I had to come back in time first, figure out what we're dealing with. We're still on earth only billions of years ago when it just formed. Everything is still organisms," The Doctor grabbed his coat and stepped outside, saying that we need to stay inside he's just collecting samples.

"Oh man I can't believe it'll all be over soon," Macy said to me
"I know. Everyone will be back too, Gordon, Chris's kids, Matt, Tom's family, Elle. Everyone!"
"I can't wait to have Gordon back. We've started our own band."
"Really?" That's interesting
"Yeah. Well, it's more me. He just wants to be with me every step of the way."
"What's your group called?" I asked

"Not really sure. Still deciding between Marina and the Diamonds, Marina being my stage name, or Panic! at the Disco. What do you think?" These groups don't exist here. Just roll with it.
"I rather like the second choice. Makes you sound fun," I smiled and put and arm around her waist
"I am fun, you just don't know it," Macy gave me a wink and a smile. Oh I'll definitely check on that.

"Alright! I got the samples I need," The Doctor ran inside carrying a glass tube with grains of sand inside
"How do you know?" Macy asked him
"Like I said before, they're nowhere in history. Not even the faintest whisper. I found organisms that were never documented in history and I knew it was them. Now I can find their place of origin and how to end this all."

"So," Donna slowly approached him, "wipe them all out? Like a slaughter?" Everyone went still and stared at him
"No, never like that. Genocide is never the way to go, for anything."

The TARDIS engines started again and we were going back to the future. The TARDIS stopped and we collected our weapons and started heading for the door.

"Wait!" Donna said and ran to The Doctor and whispered in his ear. They were whisper yelling at each other but it seemed like he agreed with what Donna said.

"You five are welcome to sleep on board the TARDIS tonight. We might have a breakthrough in the middle of the night and we don't see the need of looking high and low for each other in town," he offered us
"We're not sure....you want your space...there is nowhere to sleep.." We all spoke at once, I have no problem sleeping here.

"There are bedrooms and we have a kitchen, you can have a real dinner and breakfast tonight," Donna said
"Well okay if you insist," Macy shrugged and we put our guns in our pockets and the large ones on our shoulders.
"The TARDIS will lead the way to your rooms!" The Doctor yelled when we went own a dim lit hall.

Sure enough we found bedrooms and set our guns down. The rooms were next to each other and what looks like the kitchen is down the hall a bit more.

"Food anyone?" Donna's voice echoes from behind us, "I make a spectacular lasagne and salad!" Donna got cooking and the smell made our stomachs growl like dogs getting ready for a fight. Just like she said, the lasagne and salad was to die for, we ate the entire thing.

We sat around the table, exchanging stories from before this all began and how happy we are to know its ending. All too soon, we were tired and decided to call it a night.

"Dom," Macy whispered, "I don't think I can sleep."
"Please try. If anything happens, I'm next door to you. I'll leave it unlocked for you," I kissed her cheek and she went into her room, then I went to mine.

I hope this plan works.

Macy

I walked into my room to be greeted by a clean pair of flannel pajamas, shampoo and conditioner, a toothbrush and toothpaste, with a blue card with black writing that said "A gift from the TARDIS. Sleep well."

I smiled at the note and said thank you to the ship. I grabbed the gifts and went into the bathroom to get cleaned up. Man it felt good to have a proper bath. Putting on clean clothes on clean skin made me want to cry. So many years of sponge baths and improper sewage systems (don't even get me started on Mother Nature) has come to an end. If only Matt were here to enjoy it.

The thought of him being gone made me sad. Then I got to thinking about Gordon. Both of their deaths were my fault. I left Gordon in the lobby, causing him to drown trying to save us. Matt died trying to save me. I let them both happen.

I sat on the bathroom floor sobbing. Guilt washed over me all over again and I couldn't handle it, I needed Dom.

I knocked softly on his door and slowly opened it. He wasn't in bed yet and I heard the shower water running, I guess everyone got a gift. I sat on his bed, waiting and I heard him singing. Drummer can't carry a tune, but it was nice to hear some happy in his voice. The water turned off and five minutes later the door opened and Dom came out with soaked hair.

"Holy sh-hey Macy. What's up?"
"I couldn't sleep, I feel so awful Dom," I sobbed
"Shshshsh. What's the matter?"
"Both of their deaths were my fault! I left Gordon in the lobby and let him die! Matt died when it should have been me! I should have died Dom!"

I felt him sit on the bed and put his arms around me. He didn't say anything he just held me and let me cry. Eventually my tears ran out and we sat in silence.

"Sleep in my room tonight, you need the company," said Dom
"Thank you."

Dom turned off the bathroom light and bedroom light. He pulled back the blankets on the bed and we climbed in. We laid facing each other and Dom smiled at me and chuckled.

"What is it?" I asked him
"Nothing it's just, ah. You're so beautiful," Dom stroked my cheek with his thumb and I smiled,
"Probably not my best pick up line but, I'm glad to be stuck at the end of the world with you, Macy."
"Yeah not your best. Try again in the morning Mr. Howard."

"Goodnight beautiful."
"Goodnight."

Okay okay. So first I'd like to thank all of you for all the comments. It's encouraged me to keep writing and not delete it like I've done with previous stories.
Second, in this story Panic! and Marina and the Diamonds don't exist. I'm going to incorporate that into the story.
That's all, BUY GOLD BYYYYEEEEE!
