Dom
A loud screech came from behind us and the Reelers stopped in their tracks. They faced the cliff that their leader was on. We stopped too, covering our ears because of how loud the shrieking was. I saw two figures halfway up the cliff face. Macy and The Doctor.
The Reelers that were chasing us changed their path and ran to the cliff. They're going after Macy! I looked at Chris and Tom with pleading eyes. They looked at each other and nodded.
"Full ammo?" Chris asked us
"Yes," Tom and I responded
"Good.."
"Wait hold on, what are you three doing?" Donna stepped in front of us
"Help The Doctor and Macy, we can't just leave them!"
"You'll die out there! We need to get to the TARDIS!"
"You go, if we die then we die trying to save the planet. We can't sit back and wonder if they're dying.."
Donna went into the tunnel and to the TARDIS and us three ran to the mob of Reelers. Macy and The Doctor were nearing the top but the creatures were closing in on them. They're not going to make it. Macy tossed something down the cliff that I assumed to be her pistol and pulled out a larger gun from her belt and fired that. A few Reelers fell and knocked other's off the cliff on their way down, but it won't be enough to ensure their safety.
As we got closer we cocked our guns and started shooting. The sound of guns diverted some Reeler's attention and they came after us, lessening the numbers going after Macy and The Doctor.
"Gentlemen, it has been an honor being your friend," Tom said
"See you on the other side," Chris said sadly but with some relief in his voice
"Let's get it done then."
Macy
I heard gun shots from below and saw Dom, Chris, and Tom running at the Reelers behind us and shooting. We told them to get to the TARDIS! But at the moment I can't be angry. The Doctor and I reached the top and pulled ourselves up. The shiny metal I saw was a giant computer type thing with the lead Reeler attaching itself to the machine.
"Oi! Step away from the machine and I won't use this!" I yelled raising my gun
"Oh? I suppose I can use a little physical action before taking this planet," the wires in its skin came out and it came straight for me.
Being that the machine was now free, The Doctor went for it and started using his sonic on it. The Reeler came fast and knocked me to the ground. I was pinned beneath it and I saw its skin and body transform before my eyes. It was sickening but fascinating at the same time. Bones cracking, the sound of choking and gagging, disgusting sucking noises all for the Reeler to take the shape of Dom.
"Oh you don't like my new form? I took it from you sub conscience. You dreamt of him for many years. Such thoughts you've had about a man you don't even know, how would you feel about him killing you?" Dom2's teeth became sharp and hissed at me before going to bite me.
I pushed him off with slight effort, he's the weight of a human now and I feel I have an advantage being I have spent years of fighting these things.
"I wouldn't feel very happy at all, but how would you like to be killed by a human?" I charged at Dom2 and tackled him to the ground. I wrapped my hands around his throat then began to cut off his air supply. He tried prying my fingers away so I started to hit his head into the stone floor. Dom2 looked into my eyes and I couldn't help but feel like I was killing the real Dom. I released my grip and I was pushed off.
"Seems I have an advantage, don't I beautiful?" Dom2 spoke. I backed away at the word beautiful remembering when Dom called me that. "Ooh, seems I hit a soft spot. This is going to be fun."
Dom
We were outnumbered., it was obvious we were going to die down here. I wondered how Macy and The Doctor were doing and if they had almost got what they needed to be done.
Reelers were coming at us in all directions. I had already gone through two of my pistols and now onto the bigger guns.
"I'm out! I'm out!" Tom yelled scrambling for his knife, "Shit!" A Reeler jumped on him and Tom fought for his life.
"Tom!" I shot the Reeler and felt one jump on me. Fuck, this is it. This is how I die. Death my an alien creature under earth's crust.
A blue light flashed around us and Reelers fell to the ground, the one on top of me included. I pushed it off me mad stood up. Donna ran to our aid holding what looked like a satellite dish.
"Think I would leave you three alone? No! I found this on the TARDIS. Pressed a few buttons and got it working!" She raised her gun and smiled widely, "Right then, let's go save the world."
Macy
"DOCTOR!" I screeched at the top of my lungs and struggled to get Dom2 off me
"MACY!" I heard from below, sounded like Chris. A blue light flashed and distracted Dom2, giving me an opportunity to get him off.
"Hold on, was that-"
"DOCTOR!" I cut him off to get his attention back on the situation we're in.
"Right!" He soniced the machine but his screwdriver kept shorting out, "I need more power!"
"Here!" I pulled the sonic screwdriver out of my pocket and tossed it to him
As soon as it was in his hands I felt hands wrap around my neck but pushed them off, Dom2. He smiled evilly and laughed.
"Absolutely pathetic. But I have to say you and your friends have some courage trying to stop me..."
"MACY!" Dom?
"Look at me when I AM TALKING!" Dom2 slapped me causing me to fall. Dom2 grabbed me by my hair and slammed my face to the ground.
"GET OFF HER!" I heard Dom yell and the weight of Dom2 was lifted off me.
"Macy! Macy oh my god!" Tom gently picked me up and inspected my dirt and bloody face.
"I'll help The Doctor," Donna said and went to him
"Holy shit.." Whispered Chris
We followed his eyes and saw two Dom's fist fighting. Crap. I have offended fantasized about two Dom's but not like this!
"Macy! Shoot him! Shoot him now!" One Dom yelled
"No I'm not the Reeler he is!" Cried the other
"I don't know who the real one is!" I yelled
"It's me! Macy it's me!" They yelled at the same time
I looked back and forth between them and I saw something that gave away their identity. I saw the bruising around the neck of one Dom and knew that was Dom2. The real Dom fell to the ground and I pulled Dom2 away.
"I'VE GOT IT!" The Doctor yelled excitedly. I heard a rumbling from the machine and wind began to blow. "TIME IS REVERSING! WE DID IT!"
"No!" Dom2 yelled angrily and threw me to the ground. I kicked my leg out and knocked him down too. I will end this.
I stood to my feet and grabbed Dom2 by the shirt collar dragging him to the edge of the cliff we were on.
"MACY STOP!" I didn't listen, I wanted to end this. We came to the edge and I forced Dom2 to look down to know where he will end up. Bodies of the Reelers were beginning to disappear but that didn't stop me.
"How do you feel knowing your dying in the hands of a human?" I shoved him over the edge and backed away, what happened next I didn't expect. He grabbed my arm and pulled me over with him.
"NO!"
I fell with Dom2 and I saw everything flash before my eyes. The concert, the earthquake, the flooding, losing Dom, finding Teignmouth, setting up camp, Matt losing Elle, Sophie, finding Dom, The Doctor and Donna, losing Matt, this place. I closed my eyes and saw Matt waiting to catch me at the bottom of the cliff, safe in his arms. But that wasn't the case.
Dom
I saw the fake me take Macy over the edge with him. Everything was starting to fade and turned to The Doctor.
"She'll remember me yeah?"
"The dead don't remember, Dominic. I'm sorry," he told me
I fell to my knees and let the wind blow my hair everywhere. I looked down at my hands and saw them fading away, we are being put back at the beginning of when this all started....but do I want to remember all this? Do I want to remember all this death?
