"Nancy is his wife and those little girls are his daughters."

Those words alone cut me like a knife. I didn't know he was married with kids. "It's official, I'm a homewrecker." I cried.  Miles and mom approached me, "you're not a homewrecker." Miles said. Mom nod her head in agreement. "He never told me he had a wife and kids. He wasn't even wearing a wedding ring that night. How could I be this stupid? This blind? What if Nancy hates me. I slept with her husband and had a baby by him." I blurted out. Miles came and hugged me. He's so warm and the sound of his heartbeat begin to soothe me.

"Miles, do you know why Jimmy wasn't wearing his ring?" Mom asked, rubbing my back. "He slipped and fall on a rug that Nancy likes in his kitchen. His ring got caught on a table. The doctor said he almost lost that finger too. His condition is called Ring Avulsion." Miles explained. After Miles explained why Jimmy wasn't wearing his, I felt bad for Jimmy. Miles let go of me. "Are you alright?" He asked, as I wiped tears away from my eyes. "Yes. I'm fine." I reassured. I quickly got myself together as we walked towards the elevator bank. I guess I'll see her soon. I'm not sure if I want to face her.

We walked out of Rockefeller Center. I pulled out my phone to see what time it is, wow it's only 8:56pm "If you ever want to talk-" Miles took my phone and begin to type on it. "You have my number. Don't hesitate, I'll text back." He smiled and handed my phone over to me. "You got it." I smiled back. I couldn't help but think, is he flirting with me?

"Hey, Miles." Mom chimed in. "Yes." He replied turning his attention to her. "What does A.D. stands for." She asked. I shook my head. "It stands for Anthony David." He responded. Hmmm, Anthony David. That's a cute name. Me and mom hugged and thanked Miles for everything before we said our goodbyes and walked back to our hotel. As we're walking back to our hotel, which is approximately 3 blocks away from 30 Rock. Mom begins to talk, "you know, Braelyn-" I look over to her. "-I think that Miles character likes you." She said, playfully nudging my arm. I laughed. "I doubt it mom, he probably has a girlfriend. Why do you always call somebody a character?" She chuckles. "Well, girlfriend or not, he flirting with you. Because, I can and every time I say it you laugh. Which never gets old to me."

Finally made it to our hotel, of course mom complained about the walking distance. I gave Caiden a bath and fed him, so he's full and sleep. Mom is dead asleep. She said the heat got to her. So, here I am, texting Miles. Our conversation got me thinking. Maybe he is flirting. But, I only came out here to tell Jimmy about Caiden.

Me and Miles are still texting each other when I received a call, thinking it was Miles I immediately picked up. "Hello." I whispered. "Braelyn..." That's not Miles voice. I quickly took the phone away from my ear to see a 646 number. "Ummm, who is this?" I questioned. "It's Jimmy." He says.

My eyes widen. Why is he calling me. "Hi, Jimmy." I said. Trying to remain calm. Talk about unexpected. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind it, it's just weird. "What's up?" I added. Still trying to play cool. "I need to tell you something. Is your mom and Caiden sleep?" He quietly whispered. "Yeah, they're right next to me." I look over at Caiden and mom. "I need you to step out of your hotel room." Is he being serious right now? I said, as I thought to myself. I sigh and slowly got up and walked out of the room. Before I walked out of the room, I quietly grabbed the key card from the desk. I slowly closed the door before sitting down in front of the door. "Ok, I'm outside. What's up?" There was a long pause. "Jimmy..." I whisper yelled. "I told Nancy and my family everything. They're pissed off right now. Nancy needed time to cool off and process this whole situation. But they all agree when the DNA test comes back saying Caiden is mines they want to meet you, your mom and him."

I felt the blood drain from my face. He told his family and his wife. I knew he'll tell them sooner or later. I felt myself beginning to hyperventilate. "Braelyn..." Jimmy called out. I couldn't answer. "I... I have to go Jimmy. I... I hear Caiden. I'll see you soon." I choked out. "Ummm, ok. Goodnight, I'll see you soon." Jimmy said. I ended the call and stood up before I quietly tip toed my way back in the hotel room.
