Annabeth hadn't seen Percy at school for the past 2 days. He wasn't answering her calls or texts either. But senior prom was coming up in 5 days and she still didn't have a dress. She was at the mall, searching the clearance racks with Piper.
"Most schools had their prom last week, and all the good dresses were taken!""complained Piper
"I'm sure anything will look good in you and impress Jason." Replied Annabeth.
"Aww, that's sweet Annabeth. Speaking of Jason, are you going to prom with Percy?"asked Piper.
"I don't know, I haven't seen him at school. I don't know if he's avioding me or what." Said Annabeth.
"What do you think of this?" Asked Piper as she held up a floor length red dress with beading on the chest.
"Oh my gosh, YES!!" Exclaimed Annabeth.
"Okay so now that I've found my dream dress, it's time to find yours. I don't care if Percy is going to ask you or not, you're going to prom with me. I don't care if I have to ditch Jason." said Piper.
She searched the racks some more. "What about this?"'she asked as she held up a blue, knee length dress.
"I don't know if blue is really my color..." Said Annabeth.
"Yes it is, it brings out your eyes."
"Ugh fine Piper, you know best."
***Percy POV***
He was avoiding school because he knew the more he saw Annabeth, the more he would miss her. He laid on his bed all day and tried to pick up where his was on his game, but he guessed he lost some of his skills from being on the island so long.
***Annabeth POV***
Percy wasn't at school all week. Maybe he was avoiding her. After all they've been though he was avoiding her. At least she could go to prom with Piper.
