Stranded: A Percabeth Fanfic

Back to normal...right?

Annabeth heard a tapping at her window. "Percy" she thought she opened the window to meet his sea green eyes.

"Hey" he breathed

"Hey yourself" she replied "what are you doing here?"

"Well it's our first night back, so I thought I would come kiss you goodnight." He said

"Awwww that's so sweet, but my parents have been checking on me like every 5 minutes, so you should go"

"Okay" he said glumly "They said we didn't have to go back to school right away, but because I know you Annabeth Chase, you'll be there bright and early tomorrow morning."

"You can count on it Seaweed Brain" she said with a smile as she closed her window.

***Percy's POV the next day***

He really didn't want to go to school today, but he wanted to see Annabeth, so he forced himself to wake up.

When he got there, Annbeth was surrounded by so many people, he could barely see her face. He decided maybe wasn't the best time to talk to her.

Percy tried again at lunch, but Annabeth was still the most popular girl in school.

He gave up at the end of the day, but he then felt someone grab his shirt and pull him under the stairs. It was Annbeth. He smiled

"I haven't seen you all day, Seaweed Brain." She said with a smile.

"Well you are now the most popular girl in school, so I never really had a...." He got cut off.

"Just kiss me" Annabeth said.

Percy smiled, and pulled her lips to his.

"What do you two think you're doing!?" Someone yelled.

Percy and Annabeth instantly broke apart.

"This is a stairway, and I would like to clean it" said the grumpy janitor.

"I'm so sorry sir" said Annabeth as she quickly grabbed her bag. "See you tomorrow, I guess I forgot we aren't on a private island anymore" she said to Percy as she left the building.

Percy walked out of the building, but wasn't paying attention, and that resulted him running into a homeless guy with crutches.

"Woah, sorry dude" he said.

"A place like this isn't safe for demigods" he said "there's this place called New Rome, and it's safe. Follow me.

"Wait" said Percy "how did you..."

" I just do!" The guy said.

"What about my family and my girlfriend? Won't they miss me?" Percy said

"Fine, you have one week to say goodbye to your precious girlfriend. I'll meet you here at the same time in exactly one week. But beware demigod, the real world is no place for someone like you."
