As I type this the big clock behind me on the wall goes tick tock. Ever wondered how time goes so fast? The saying 'time goes quickly when you're having fun' comes to mind.
But also the phrase...every step is a step closer to your grave. And that is a scary thought. This constant thought keep you in check. Reminding you that in this dunya you are nothing but a traveller. The destination is the grave and mock results day is Munkar and Nakeers answers in an envelope. Final exams results day is the Day of Judgement and a pass equals eternal contentment, happiness and peace. Failure results in punishment beyond imagination. Fear courses through you as you hear your name called out....the ultimate Judge in front of you and the crowd behind you. Your results book is given to you by an Angel. Now what shall it be...the left or the right?
You decide...make a decision and a firm resolution. Then stick to it. Try your best and never lose hope for Allah has said...'do not be amongst the doubters'.
