As I type this the big clock behind me on the wall goes tick tock. Ever wondered how time goes so fast? The saying 'time goes quickly when you're having fun' comes to mind.
But also the phrase...every step is a step closer to your grave. And that is a scary thought. This constant thought keep you in check.
Reminding you that in this dunya you are nothing but a traveller. The destination is the grave and mock results day is Munkar and Nakeers answers in an envelope. Final exams results day is the Day of Judgement and a pass equals eternal contentment, happiness and peace. Failure results in punishment beyond imagination. Fear courses through you as you hear your name called out....the ultimate Judge in front of you and the crowd behind you.
Pray before you are prayed on and try to do as much good until you pass away. Death is a reality...it will catch everyone one day. We have to be prepared for it.
