What was your first impression of Skylar?
Esther: My first impression was that she was a very happy girl. Her eyes were so bright as she stood next to Penelope. When I first walked into the orphanage, and she saw me, her eyes flickered with recognition but only when I said my name could you see the light bulb appear over her head. As soon as we locked eyes, I could tell it was her. She was the one I was meant to adopt.
