I check the time: 1:15pm.

Gee, I think to myself. Time really flies by when you're in hospital.

I bring a hand to my temple and touch it gingerly, wincing at the contact. I move my hand around a bit and realise the reason why my head was feeling so weird; it had a bandage on it.

I don't know how I didn't notice that.

I go into my music app, play Heaven by Troye Sivan and place my phone on my chest. I only mean to rest my eyes but I fall in a deep sleep.

"Miss Daniels," a manly voice shakes me awake and I slowly open my eyes to see Doctor Ramsey (my doctor) standing at the end of my bed, a kind smile on his face. "There is someone wanting to see you,"

I send him a soft smile. "Okay, send them in."

My eyes open wide when Kamryn walks in, twisting her hands together nervously, and a grin forms on my face. "Hi, oh my God! How did you know I was here? Your hair!"

"Yeah, I know!" Kamryn replies. "Kirstie told me. Asked if I could come check on you. What happened?"

I blush furiously and look down at my hands. "I may have felt Scott up, had a panic attack and hit my head on something sharp...." I mutter, embarrassed. But I know I can trust Kamryn not to laugh at me... Too much.

I hope.

"Jesus, Sky, you need to take care of yourself," she mutters and I'm thankful she ignored the first part. "I thought something really bad might have happened," she laughs and then frowns slightly.

"So um, I really like your hair!" I exclaim and she smiles.

"Oh, thanks!" she replies. "I got it done just before I came over. I love yours too, it looks amazing."

I open my mouth to reply but a beep from my phone silences me and I pick it up.

A text from Lexi flashes on my lock screen.

Hey, she writes. I'm here but they say you already have a visitor.

I unlock my phone and send her a reply. Yeah, tell them that I want you up here.

Okay, see you soon.

"My friend Lexi's here as well, she's coming up to visit me." I say to Kamryn and she nods.

"Okay," she replies and we continue to talk as we wait for Lexi to arrive. A couple minutes later, she walks into the room and recognition flickers over Kamryn's and Lexi's faces.

"Hey, I know you!" They say at the same time and my eyebrows furrow as Kamryn laughs.

"You changed you hair, I see," Lexi says and Kamryn nods.

"Great salon you showed me," she replies.

"Wait, you two know each other?" I ask. I'm so confused right now.
