I step out of the train to my District cheering loudly for me. This isn't what I was expecting. I was expecting them to hate me for being part of the reason Asher died. I look over the crowd smiling, finally feeling a little bit more comfortable.

Omar said I developed Post Dramatic Stress Disorder in the games. It's hard dealing with that and the nightmares every night, and knowing that Asher won't storm into the room to make sure I'm alright.

"Ariston!" Tayla screams and I run out and hug her.

"I've missed you so much." I say and begin to cry. She squeezes me tighter and rubs my back. I look behind her and see Fletcher running towards me. I bend down and scoop him up, kissing him on the head.

"I promised I'd come back, didn't I?" I smile and he hugs my neck. My dad runs up and hugs me.

"I'm so proud of you, baby." He says and rubs my hair.

"It was hard, daddy." I cry and hug him, breathing in his scent that I so dearly missed.

I bring them all three into a group hug and enjoy the time that I have with these people. Because of what I've learned in the past few weeks, the people you hold closest will always be the ones who leave first.
