I'm usually not one to dress up all nice and go out somewhere with a large group of friends. Most of the time I just I sit in my apartment and avoid people at all costs, unless it's one or two people. I prefer the attention from one or two close friends rather than a large group. I always get nervous and quiet around large groups. Plus, if I do speak up, I have the consequence of many eyes staring at me and judging what I'm going to say next. Now that I'm going out with Natasha Negovanlis, I know I need to dress up all cool like she does and put on my social face. It's time to impress... or rather screw up and get laughed at. We'll see how this goes.

I walk into the club I was told to meet them at and the first person I see is Natasha. My jaw nearly hits the floor.

She's dressed in tight jeans that hug her legs perfectly and a low cut top with a leather jacket over it. Her hair is straightened, the only thing about her appearance right now that's not screaming Carmilla. Her eyes catch mine and my breath catches in my throat. Her eyes are lined dark with eyeliner, making her gaze more intense that usual. She looks stunning.

"Elise!" She waves me over to join her, Annie, Sharon, Kaitlyn, and Matt.

Running my fingers through my hair, I approach them. I smile as Natasha gives me a quick hug.

"Hey, what do you want to drink?" Natasha asks me.

"Um, whatever you're having," I say to sound cool. I'm not so sure it comes out as cool as I thought but she smiles anyway and proceeds to yell for the bartender. He doesn't pay her any attention as he mixes drinks for two women who are showing a lot of skin. In the mean time, I sit on a bar stool.

"Hi, Elise," Sharon says to me, moving closer so we can actually hear each other. She is leaning against the counter with her feet on the ground part rather than the stool part and I'm sitting up straight, but she's still much taller. "I was going to say congratulations on set but you seemed occupied with Natasha." She says that like there's something to suspect. Does she know? I guess it is blatantly obvious, but I'd like to think I'm subtle about my crush.

"Oh, sorry." I shrug then flash her a smile. "But you totally can now."

She laughs then holds out her arms for a hug. "Congratulations!"

I lean into her arms, laughing, and hug her, getting up from my stool. I stand on the elevated part where the stools go and she stands on the normal elevated floor so I'm about her height... finally.

Over her shoulder, I see Natasha turn around with two red drinks in her hand and look at us. Something flashes in her eyes for a second, but it's quickly gone when she looks away and begins to talk to Matt. I pull away from Sharon and give her an appreciative smile.

"Congratulations to everyone," I say extra loud.

Natasha maneuvers around people when she sees I'm no longer busy with hugging and talking to Sharon and holds one of the red drinks out to me. Even though it's not loud enough to be mouth to ear, she does it anyway and it sends shivers down my body when her hot breath hits my neck.

"Don't worry, it's not blood," she teases.

"Oh, good," I manage to say without a shaky voice. I take it and examine in. "Now I no longer have to worry about that. I was questioning it in my head." I wink at her jokingly, and I swear I see her blush. My heart melts at the cute sight as she tries to hide it and confidence hits me like a train. "You look good, Natasha."

She just stares at me, looking a bit shocked. It's different to see that type of expression on her face. Usually I'm the one with the shocked expression. Oh, how the tables have turned. She blinks and seems to snap back in to reality.
