Natasha rests her lips against my temple, tired from kissing it repeatedly. Her arms are protectively wrapped around my upper and lower back as I lie halfway on her, my face nearly nuzzled completely in the crook of her neck. I settle for the uncomfortable comfort of her collarbone, kissing it periodically. I trace circles on her hip with my fingertip, which I feel the effect from by the goosebumps rising on her skin around that area. I feel exhilarated and exhausted.
"I wanted to make it more special," she says after another quiet minute has passed.
I look up at her as best as I can from this angle and press a kiss to her jaw to non-verbally assure that is was before verbally confirming it, "It was special."
I don't think planning this kind of thing works out. It has to be in the moment, which this was for sure. We went on a romantic dinner date that was special all by itself. I'm happy we came back here anyway, doing certain activities or not. I would have been all for watching a movie on the couch also, talking away our night and not looking at the TV once. As long as I was in her presence, I would have been okay.
"Was it... okay?"
I contain my laugh because she's actually being serious. She's insecure about this when it was literally the most perfect thing ever. By all means, I'm not making fun of her; I'm only surprised.
"It was more than okay," I reassure again.
Natasha smiles cockily at the ceiling, a distinct difference in her previous emotion. God, she's a goofball.
"Hey." I poke at her side to make her look at me. "Want to bring a movie in here to watch?"
There is a TV in front of her bed. It's small, but it's still a TV.
"I don't want to get up." She practically switches our position to lay more on me and buries her face in my neck. Her hot breath tickles my skin with each beating second.
Smiling, I rub the back of her neck and scalp with my fingertips.
"That feels good."
Oh, I've heard that before.
"No, Elise." Natasha lifts her head. "I know what you're thinking." She's trying to sound serious but there's a struggling frown on her face that wants to turn into a smile.
I just smirk at her until she smiles and brings her face back down to my neck again. "Want me to get a movie?"
"No, you're not allowed to leave either."
"This is like kidnapping!" I exclaim jokingly.
She laughs and kisses my neck a few times. Her grip loosens as she says, "Fine, you're allowed to leave when you want." She pauses for dramatic effect. "Go ahead."
I don't move a muscle.
"That's what I thought."
"That's what I thought," I mock.
"Elise!" Natasha says with a laugh.
I roll out from under her and almost off the bed until her arms wrap around my waist to pull me back in. I don't know what I was planning on doing once I reached the floor, because I'm naked, so it's probably for the best that she caught me. I probably would have fallen on my face anyway with my coordination, or lack thereof. Besides, feeling the skin-to-skin contact of her bare front on my back is nice. I know what would feel nicer though.
I turn around to face her again and see her smile at me. I inevitably smile back before kissing the curve of her lips. I love the way she immediately responds to it, her lips moving to please mine easily. As much as I want it to, it doesn't last long. I only peck her lips a few more times before pulling back completely.
