‘I know and I would have hit you if you meant it. Caspian the only thing that I am confused about though is why you came here? You could have got seriously injured.’
‘Is I wanted to kiss you earlier but then we were interrupted.’ He said with annoyed expression. I know I said Caspian had changed but in reality everyone changes yet some things never change. Casper is still boy I love when I was younger. The same little boy he said he wanted to marry me.
‘Is you know I liked you when we were little and I’m going to sound like a stalker but I was watching you before I came into the shop that day. I didn’t even know it was you for sure but I had to get closer to you. Then when I found out it was you I had to get even closer. What I mean to say is I want to be more than just your best friend but if you don’t want that we can still be friends right.’
‘You think we could still only be best friends after what just happened,’ I watch as his face started to crumble in sadness so I quickly carried on. ‘Casper I kissed you back which prove that my feelings for you are stronger than friendship.’
Perhaps my parent’s dreams were coming true. They always dreamt that I would be with Caspian and that at the same time I would remain myself. Caspian was probably the only person who would fully accept me as I am. Caspian is the only one that would never make me change anything about myself.
Caspian stayed that night and we talked about everything that had happened in our lives. I told him about all the classes that Eve made me take. I was very surprised when he told me that I was the first girl he kissed apart from the hand of girls when he met them and had to be a gentle man. We decided that we were going to take things slow. We planned to take Mia out tomorrow together around the town and show her around because it became apparent to me that she wasn’t from around here.
When morning came I realised I had fallen asleep on top of Caspian and that we hadn’t left the lounge. Caspian was still a sleep so I decided to get ready for the day. I made my way upstairs and found that Mia was also still asleep in my bed. I made my way to the bath and filled it with lavender scented bubbles. I relaxed in my bath until the water started to get cold.
After I got dressed into a purple gown I picked out a pale green gown for Mia. I run a bath for Mia and then woke her up; I was surprised when she put the gown on without a word. I braided the hair falling into her face back but left the rest down. I then led her down stairs for breakfast. I had forgotten that Caspian was down there and so was startled when I heard noises in the kitchen.
Caspian came through the door and was bombarded with questions from Mia.
‘Caspian how come your here I thought you left last night? Is Edmund here to?’ she asked jumping up and down excitedly.
‘I came to see Is. I did leave last night and Edmund isn’t with me but if Is lets you, you can come with me tonight to see him. Now back to the present do you want some breakfast.’
We both followed Caspian into the kitchen were I was bombarded with the nicest smell ever. I looked over to find out Casper had made blueberry muffins, they were my favourite.
‘You remembered,’ I grinned. I didn’t waste time as I promptly sat down at the table and snatched up a muffin totally forgetting about being lady like. I guess it didn’t even matter if I was after all it was only Caspian who grew up with me and then a mini-me.
