I had just shut the door when I heard the screams. What was going on? I walked into the kitchen were I heard the clatter of pots and pans. Mia was telling Eve she was doing everything wrong. I slipped into the kitchen as quietly as possible and assessed the scene in front of me. Eve was covered in flour while Mia had eggshell in her hair. The kitchen was in ruins there was flour everywhere, I was just about to shout at them to stop whenever something landed on my head and began to slowly drip down my face. I heard laughter and I turned around to glare at the pair. Mia pointed at Eve and began shouting that it was all her fault before trying to runoff.

I lifted the thing of my head and tried to figure out what exactly it was suppose to be but I give up shortly. Eve had a talent for making a mess in the kitchen, she loved to experiment and sadly it was only in my house did she get away with it. I looked over to Eve who was backing away slowly with her hands up in surrender. I grabbed a handful of the slosh that was in the mixing bowl and aimed at her face. In an attempt to escape it Eve tried walking backwards but tripped knocking a bag of flour over her head. The gloop that was originally meant for Eve ended up hitting Mia instead, I felt bad but the feeling was shortly live as I had to dodge her egg attack. All I can say is that a full out war began until we were interrupted by laughter.

We all stopped what we were doing and looked over to the doorway were Tyler and Edmund were standing. How did they get into my house, I was about to ask whenever I was cut off by Eve.

'Tyler it's good to see you again, can I get you anything?' I watch as she tried to keep a smile from breaking onto her face. I knew what this meant of course, she was in love with him but was his feelings the same.

'Well, I came to see you. Em...that is I wanted to ask you wouldyouliketogototheballwithme?' I couldn't understand what he said and it was obvious that Eve hadn't a clue either. 'Would you like to go to the ball with me?' I saw the joy in Eves face as she pulled him in and kissed him. I knew they had been meeting up but I never thought they were getting into a serious relationship.

'Am I going to be the only one without a partner for the ball?' Eve said that Mia didn't have one but then Edmund said she was going to be his partner. 'I can't believe my daughter can get a partner for a ball and I can't. I'm going to be all on my own now.'

'Caspian might have something to say about that but you'll have to wait to tomorrow. I can't believe two of my best friends who swore as children they would never like each other more than friends are now in love?' I stared at Tyler in shock. I didn't love Caspian right, we just happened to like each other more than we should.

We waved goodbye to Tyler and Edmund who squirmed their way out of helping us tidy the mess in the kitchen. They claimed that they had to get back to the palace before a search party was sent out for them. Eve was no help in the kitchen as she was happy to function properly so the cleaning was left to Mia and me. When the kitchen was finally clean it was very late and there was no way I would let Eve leave, I was afraid that she could get hurt so she stayed the night.

The next morning eve left early to tell her mother all about Tyler. I knew her mother was in for a shock. Eve was going to have a lot of explaining to do. I was anxious to see Caspian again and to get my thoughts of him I took Mia out after breakfast. We were in the meadow practicing are archery skills whenever I felt his arms lap around me.

'Hi Casper.'
