May 31st,

It’s almost the end of the school year.  Sophomore year seemed to fly by faster than freshman year.  I can’t believe that I’m going to be a junior in a couple months and in a little over a year I’ll be a senior.  Where does high school go?   It’s seemed to have gotten lost in the past few months.  Now it’s just a blur of memories.

Another year and still no friends, well at least now I know why.  At least I’ll always have Anabella.  It’ll be me and her together forever.  Forever’s a long time but it’s not long enough.  As long as we’re together I’ll never leave her side and she’ll never leave mine.  I can’t wait to spend another whole summer by her side.  Plus, did I mention I got my driver’s license?  Well I did!  First try too.  I have my own car.  Mom bought it off of some guy at work.  It’s a silver truck.  It’s nothing fancy but it has wheels and it drives, so I’m happy.

The first thing I did when I got my license was take Anabella for a drive.  She loved it.  She told me she couldn’t remember the last time she rode in a car.  In a small town like this, you walked everywhere.  We even walked to school.  I’ll always remember her face when the engine started.  She light up like a firework.  She stuck her hands out the window as we pulled away from her house.  Halfway down the main road she leaned to the side and stuck her head out the window.  The wind blew through her hair and she smiled bigger than I had ever seen.  I loved seeing her happy.
