Just another usual day. I woke up and got ready for work. After running downstairs and eating breakfast, I texted Gracie.
Morning!
Someone is in a good mood.
Really? I don't know why though.
Well I like it.
See you at work.
Bye!!!!
After finishing my toast, I drove to starbucks. I turned on the radio and jammed. I soon arrived and parked my car. Grabbing my bag, I walked in to put on my green apron.
"Maddie!!!" Gracie waved.
"Morning." I smiled and stood behind the cashier machine. It's gonna be another long day.
Soon Luke came in. This is gonna be awkward... And of course Calum was there. I fixed my hair and straightened my apron.
"Hey Maddie." Luke smiled. "Hi Gracie."
"Hi." Gracie shortly answered.
Luke looked at me all confused. Wasn't something I said.
"Hi Luke." I replied. After all those times, this was the first time I ever spoke to him calmly. I guess the spells been broken?
"Hi crybaby." Calum smirked.
"Good morning to you too jerkface." I smiled and picked at my nails. What's wrong with me?
I looked over at Luke and he was confused. They came up to me and ordered their drink. First Luke.
"The usual?" I quickly asked, already tapping in the details. It doesn't surprise me that I've memorized Luke's order after all those times he have ordered.
"Yeah." He handed me the money. I don't know why I'm feeling like this, but I didn't even look at him in the eye. It hurts that much.
"Here you go." I called next.
"Wait Maddie." Luke called but I ignored him and took Calum's order. Luke shrugged and went over to Gracie. I don't know why but that made me even more mad. As usual, he was staring at her.
"Oh great its you. What do you want." I rolled my eyes.
"I'm not ordering until you say your line. Even if that means me stopping the whole line." Calum smirked.
"Ugh. How may... I... Help you." I said.
"Not feeling it."
"Oh mighty Calum! What can I do to service you today?" I bowed. Fricking bastard.
"More like it. Do you want to drink anything?" He laughed. Only this time Calum.. Only this time.
"No I'm fine. Now hurry up, everyone is mad." I rolled my eyes and waited for him to order something.
"Ok. I'll get the same then." He ran his fingers through his hair. I'd have to admit, Calum was pretty cute. He had some nice muscles and his body was toned.
"What was it again?" I quickly asked him.
"What? You remember Lukes but not mine?" He pouted like a little cry baby.
"Cause you're not special." I laughed.
I had no clue why but I actually DID remember it. I tapped in the information and gave him his receipt. Guess he really is special, since it wad only his second time ordering it.
"I knew you'd remember it." He walked away over to Luke. Luke was still looking at Gracie make his drink. It kinda hurts but eh.
"Hi. How may I help you?"
